A Bow. In gift wrap emergencies when you've got the present but need some wrapping, here's an idea for turning a magazine page into a bow.

There may be better ways to stick this thing together, but I used what I had on hand: staples and adhesive glue dots. Double stick tape or brads should work, too. So today when I came across a stack of magazines I knew exactly what I needed to do with them. I bought 1/2″ and 3/4″ round (strong) magnets (in with the frames, near the corks); 1/2″ and 3/4″ clear flat glass marbles (in the fake flowers aisle, check the mosaics section too); silicon sealer made by the Crazy Glue people (in the glue aisle). Art journaling. I used to have a really nice morning routine of waking up at 8, making tea and then sitting down to create a page in my art journal. I won't be able to do that in the future unless I get up really early, since I'll start a new job on Monday, more about that later. Now, I thought I should share my process with you, because i think that art journaling is a great way to play with your creativity and just let go of all the stress of trying to create something fantastic or having to struggle with art skills.
