The Serious Games Initiative is focused on uses for games in exploring management and leadership challenges facing the public sector. Part of its overall charter is to help forge productive links between the electronic game industry and projects involving the use of games in education, training, health, and public policy. We're finally, but slowly, getting some changes going on at our site. Please see the new newswire section where we'll try to compile news in a more regular fashion. We also have launched a channel on YouTube (send us video links to add!), a flickr group (feel free to join and add screenshots), as well as a Slideshare and Delicious channel.
Serious Games Initiative
Simuland propose de former des étudiants de manière ludique à la gestion d’entreprise via un jeu de simulation d’entreprise. Chaque étudiant, ou groupe d’étudiants, doit diriger et faire prospérer une entreprise virtuelle dans un environnement concurrentiel composé des entreprises de ses camarades. La difficulté du jeu est définie selon trois niveaux par les enseignants et Simuland afin d’adapter ce jeu sérieux au niveau désiré : classes de Lycée (2 nde , 1 ère et terminale), de BTS, d’IUT, d’Écoles d’Ingénieurs ou de Commerce.

Laboratoire R&D dédié à l'étude du jeu vidéo et du Serious game Ludoscience est un laboratoire de Recherche et Développement dédié à l'étude du jeu vidéo et ses multiples incarnations (Serious game, Casual game, Art game...) . Ce site présente nos projets de recherche , publications , supports multimédias de conférences ainsi que des projets et exposés réalisés par nos étudiants. Il propose également un ensemble de ressources consacrées aux objets vidéoludiques : une bibliographie bilingue , une ludographie thématique , une banque de liens ainsi qu'un glossaire .

Serious games en empresas Dirigentes franceses del sector y analistas estiman que el mercado de los “serious games” (“juegos serios”), videojuegos creados para facilitar la formación o la comunicación en el seno de las empresas, podría llegar a superar al de los programas de entretenimiento. El Gobierno francés ha concedido a mediados de septiembre de 2009 ayudas por valor de 20 millones de euros repartidos entre 48 proyectos de juegos serios, un mercado emergente que representaba sólo 10 millones de euros en 2006 según cifras del plan estatal francés “Francia digital 2012″.
