The iTC Mobile app also provide the same graphs/information on the go. However, iTunes Connect falls short because daily statistics are only available for 14 days, and weekly statistics doesn’t stretch further than 13 weeks. Apple has a ton of apps (400.000+) on the App Store and downloads has already passed the one billion mark, I guess they just find it too expensive to store (or at least provide access) to that amount of data.

Social media outranks TV as UK's favourite pastime Social media has overtaken television as the favourite hobby of 16-24 year-olds, according to a new UK study by Click Consult. This age group talks to friends more through social media than on the phone; and on average spends almost three hours a day using social media, regardless of where they are. And 65% of 16-24-year-olds say they prefer social networking to television. “The social media revolution is not new, but for it to now take over from the nation’s favourite pastime for the younger audience, truly indicates how quickly leisure habits are evolving in our digital age,” says Managing Director of Click Consult, Matt Bullas.

Report: Android fragmentation specs Despite developer concerns over the state of Google's (NASDAQ:GOOG) open-source Android mobile operating system, the platform is not as fragmented as many believe, according to mobile app analytics firm Localytics. While significant differences in Android manufacturing partners, device form factors and OS builds do exist, Localytics states that 73 percent of all apps leveraging its analytics solution run a variant of Android 2.3, a.k.a. Gingerbread. Another 23 percent of user sessions run some flavor of Android 2.2/Froyo, meaning that developers targeting both OS builds can achieve 96 percent compatibility across the Android ecosystem. Forty-one percent of Android app sessions in the Localytics study originated on devices with 4.3-inch screens, followed by 4-inch screens at 22 percent, 3.2-inch models at 11 percent and 3.7-inch smartphones at 9 percent.
