Designing Flying Dresses And The Future Of Fashion, Meet Studio XO You might have heard of London-based fashion/technology company Studio XO for their mind-blowing creations for artists and pop stars. They've designed a "digital mermaid bra," whose crystals sparkled in time to Azealia Banks' real-time rapping, and crafted LED stage wear for the Black Eyed Peas. After discovering Studio XO's blushing Bubelle dress (which changed colors based on the wearer's mood), TechHaus, the technical division of Haus of Gaga, initiated a collaboration on a series of dresses for Lady Gaga's ARTPOP campaign: a 3D-printed bubble machine dress called Anemone, a Jeff Koons-inspired design called the Parametric Sculpture Dress, a piece with animated black mirrors named Cipher, and Volantis, a dress that literally takes flight.

Alibaba SCAM Exposed! “Alibaba is a SCAM” – you see this everywhere! And yes, you may get scammed on Alibaba if you don’t use your common sense… just like on eBay, Amazon and ANY OTHER online marketplace. Really I kinda feel sorry for Alibaba as I know for sure it is not a scam. Alibaba is simply a platform where buyers and sellers meet. Yes, there are of course scammers on Alibaba but that doesn’t mean Alibaba itself is a scam. With that logic you can then say that eBay, Yellow Pages and even your local business directory are scams as I’m sure you can also find some unscrupulous businesses there too. Details of algae-like sequin and beading glittered lightly against the soft and subtle colors Ferretti is known for. In this case she chose deep midnight blues, muted turquoises, sandy neutrals, and shimmery blacks. Ferretti’s collection held solidly to the theme of delicate sea life without distraction or anomaly in any of the looks.

Jean Paul Gaultier - Designer Fashion Label After working for Pierre Cardin and Jean Patou, Jean Paul Gaultier set out on his own to create a womenswear line. The label’s gender-bending, deconstructed aesthetic, and risqué collaborations—like Madonna’s infamous cone-shaped bra for the 1990 Blonde Ambition tour—gave the designer his “enfant terrible” reputation. He’s also known as one of the industry’s master tailors, with a knack for tuxes, trenches, and leather, and a tendency to embrace equestrian, military, and royal tropes—all with a sense of fun. In addition to the clothes, Gaultier created a successful fragrance line packaged in his signature torso-shaped bottles.

Wasteland Weekend 2015: Outrageous post-apocalyptic festival inspired by Mad Max films [Photos] Thousands of costumed revellers, driving vehicles straight out of a Mad Max movie, gathered in the southern California desert for the Wasteland Weekend festival. The annual four-day post-apocalyptic party imagines a future where civilisation as we know it has collapsed. An alternative compound springs up in the Mojave desert, and attendees have to survive without electricity and running water. Bands and DJs provide the soundtrack for the adults-only festival, which sees topless burlesque dancers, fire-breathers and stunt fighters perform in the Thunderdome. IBTimes UK presents a gallery of photos taken at this year's Wasteland Weekend.
