Old Mens T-shirt Sewn Into Women's Dolman Tee

Old Mens T-shirt Sewn Into Women's Dolman Tee
Supplies: Husband's old t-shirt My husband is a runner so he has/gets about a million gazillion t-shirts. I love grey and wanted to make it into my favorite style tee. I love the comfortable, effortless style of the dolman tee... Everything that went into this...It took me about 15 minutes or so. I played around with seams to get the fit right.

The Boho-Maxi Dress Tutorial and Pattern (Looking for more free patterns? Be sure to check out my free patterns and tutorials page here.) My little missy has been requesting a maxi dress for a while. Of course she doesn't call it a maxi dress, she just says she wants a dress "down to here" and points to her ankles. I came across this gorgeous tie dyed paisley cotton fabric a few weeks ago at Hancock Fabrics and knew it would make a perfect summer maxi dress.

WobiSobi: Re-Style#54, Five Minute Draped Vest #2 This Re-Style will be slightly different, because I am adding video instructions. Gasp! That's right, I am jumping off the dock and into the dark, cold waters of the unknown. Cauliflower Crust Pizza A co-worker of mine is currently on a special diet and has been experimenting with several low-carb dishes. One day a few weeks ago, she dropped by my office to tell me about a recipe she’d found – pizza crust made of cauliflower! Yes, it sounded a little strange, but I was definitely intrigued. Since she’s a culinary school graduate and enjoys food as much I do, I trust her judgement and wanted to try it.

XL Mens Tee Sewn Into Dolman. Directions + Video Supplies: XL mens tee DIY intructions: Cut neckline scoop neckline, cut arms (as shown). Don't cut the shoulder seam, you will need the long width for the dolman shape. Gather the bottom hemline in a few inches to be snug on your waist (this is what changes the shape of the shirt). Sew the new sleeve seams you cut (everything is right sides together). t_shirt_surgery: First Post! + 2 reconstructions I've been lurking around this community for well over a year, but I really haven't completed any good shirts until now. I was home sick today, and what better time to finish two projects? I didn't bother to take any picture before cutting up the first shirts, so I found others in the same styles: Green tank = white tank w/ laceThe blue tube top is the exact same as the pink tube top I cut up C: Here's what I turned them into...

How to Lengthen Clothes With A Contrast Print I've been drooling over mixed print trend that floated down the spring runway especially since mixing prints opens up all kinds of DIY opportunities--it's like an invitation to break all the rules. I used an an oversize mini dress from Charlotte Russe to create this look. The base color of the floral pattern was navy blue, so I thought a navy polka dot fabric would be an obvious choice, then made sure to incorporate the navy print with a small rectangle pocket flap. DIY win! *Kristina J.'

page 14 We get a lot of emails asking how to use brushes correctly so I hope this helps you out a little! A brow brush is designed to be stiff and angled for a reason. And we use the slanted edge to shade and the tip of the edge to outline. Put those components together and a brow brush is quite frankly a thing of perfection! Here’s how to use it properly: READ MORE… DIY. Fringe Sleeve/Seam Tee Great for making those tight tees wearable. Supplies: Fringe trim (3 yards) I used double sided fringe. You can make your own fringe here since it is hard to find. tshirt Can be made casual or dressy depending on the shirt you use. My Laced Up Collar Sleeves. DIY Supplies: Old tshirt or jersey cotton. Eyelet Grommet Pliers Set or I've seen metal grommet trimming sold at most fabric stores in leather...(this is the best option). Here is another fun tshirt recycle I designed and quite easy. It is a nice way to create a unique shirt without showing too much skin (just enough).

Make A Bandeau From Old Leggings Yesterday I was searching and searching my house for a bandeau to prevent an inevitable wardrobe malfunction. I have a bunch, but I couldn't find any. Anywhere. I NEEDED one to wear under a specific dress, so I decided to make one. I have a huge fabric stash, but sometimes it feels daunting to go through it all. Kimono DIY I’ve been seeing kimonos everywhere, so I decided to try a Kimono DIY! Turns out it’s pretty simple. Just 5-8 seams…depending on if you want to leave any of the edges raw. The best kimono I own was purchased at Prism Boutique in Long Beach. Re-purposing: Tshirts into 5-strand-braided-headbands I was walking through Target a few weeks ago and noticed this little knit fabric headband that was not just braided together…….but woven. I decided they were charging way too much for something that could be made with t-shirt scraps. And that means free. So there you have it.
