Much of my early sewing has been thrifty – most of my fabric comes from the remnant and clearance bin at my local fabric shop, and many of the patterns have been self drafted or free patterns from the internet. It’s a great way to start out when you are learning and don’t want to invest too much in something that might turn out not quite as you are hoping !
