Yammies Noshery: Broccoli Cheese Soup: Panera Bread Copycat Recipe - StumbleUpon

On Wednesday my sister and I volunteered to make the soup supper to go with the Advent service at church. Before you go thinking I'm some kind of charitable, goodhearted soul, I must tell you that the only reason that I do it is because I LOVE COOKING. In case you hadn't figured that out yet. Okay, so I was like, "Whadaya think, Nemo? Will two huge pots of soup, a crockpot full of barbequed meatballs, five trillion chicken salad sandwiches, fifty thousand and two loaves of bread, and a couple bazillion desserts cover it?" Well, it would have, except everybody had to try a huge bowl of BOTH kinds of soup AND meatballs. Barbequed meatballs in broccoli soup. I had to leave the room. Anyways, we ran out of soup after about ten minutes of serving. So during church I had a sudden inspiration (um, Pastor, if you're reading this, that was a typo. Anways, I burst out of church and ran up to my friend screaming, "Hey guess what!! Yeah. I mean it would be like getting paid to have fun. Okay.

How to Make Proper Barbecue Chicken There's a lot of misconception when it comes to "barbecue." The problem is the word itself. It's used as a synonym for grilling, refers to the grill itself, or to the meat being grilled; it also has a sauce named after it; and sometimes it's just the word for the party itself held outdoors in somebody's backyard. Cheeseburger Macaroni This delicious, incredibly cheesy dish is another one of our favorite weeknight dinners. It’s beefy, hearty and whips up in less than 20 minutes. Hope you love this one as much as we do! Start with one pound of lean hamburger meat, browned and drained. Add a package of taco seasoning. And one can of this.

Slow Cooker Recipes – YouBeauty Getting a delicious, healthy meal doesn’t have to entail hours in the kitchen. Instead, get yourself some fresh, nutrient-rich ingredients, throw them in a slow cooker and relax until it’s done. Now we’re talking! Try these easy slow cooker recipes for breakfast, lunch or dinner. There’s even one for dessert (OK, that one’s not so nutritious, but a little indulgence is good for the soul, right?). Crispy Baked Spicy Pumpkin Wontons Sadly, I haven’t always been kind to pumpkins. Quickly dismissed as something to be decorated and displayed, while other squashes make the cut and are happily cooked and eaten. That all changed last year when I tried pumpkin curry for the first time at a Thai restaurant. I had an epiphany; pumpkin is yummy in a savory dish. No longer shunned, I grabbed a couple cans from Trader Joe’s mountain of canned organic pumpkin puree before they’re all gone (15 oz can for $1.99). Baked wontons are easy and quick to assemble, especially using the canned pumpkin.

Garlic Cheddar Biscuits (a la "Red Lobster") Recipe TGIF, friends. Hope that you all have had a lovely week, and that a relaxing weekend lies ahead. I’m looking forward to some friend’s-birthday-celebrating, farmers-marketing, coffee-(friends)-dating, cake-baking, church-enjoying, and sleeping-inning here in my little corner of the world this weekend. OH, and the thing I’m perhaps most excited about — choir-directing. Did I mention on here that I’m leading an Easter choir at my church?! I’m kind of over the moon about it.

Ree Drummond - StumbleUpon Iced coffee is my life. When I wake up, often around the time party animals on the west coast are just heading home, I start each day not with a cup of freshly brewed hot java, but with a tall, blessed glass of creamy iced coffee in a glass. I’ve been an iced coffee freakazoid for years and years. Buffalo Chicken Bites Buffalo Chicken Bites We continue onto Week 4 of College Football, which means another delicious Football bite! These bite-sized Buffalo Chicken Bites are oven baked, not fried, so not only do they taste great, but are so much healthier for you. These crispy bites are crusted in corn flakes and baked to crispy perfection. They are perfect for snacking, appetizers, parties and tailgating. For a butter substitute, there’s vegan margarine. For dairy milk, there’s soy milk, almond milk, or other nondairy milks. Those are easy, but how do you replace eggs? The substitute you choose depends on the recipe, and luckily, you might already have many of these ingredients in your kitchen. Longtime vegans might be familiar with a couple of the items on this list, but there are a few surprises, too.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Truffles I’ve never liked chocolate chip cookies. Go ahead and throw tomatoes at me if you’d like, but I don’t like ’em. They’re just a plain old cookie, after all, with a few studs of chocolate chips in them. They’re nothing special to me, unless you get some cookie dough-action before it meets its fate in the oven. Now you’re talkin’. I’d much rather drown my sorrows in a bowl of cookie dough than nibble a dozen “cookies” dipped in milk. Chipotle's Beef Barbacoa Slow Cooker Recipe Ok, so maybe it’s not exactly like Chipotle’s, but it’s dang friggin’ close. Actually I think it’s identical to Chipotle’s Barbacoa, but there will always be That One Person who disagrees. First off, this isn’t my recipe. I found this on TheKitchn’s Web site.
