Bookmarklet turns the web into anaglyph 3D images
Designer Mark Beasley has developed a bookmarklet called 333DDD that converts any page you’re viewing into a red/cyan anaglyph. Anaglyphs are stereoscopic 3D images, and you’ll need a set of red/cyan 3D glasses to view the images properly. You can find the bookmarklet on Beasley’s blog . Drag it to your bookmark bar, click it while on any web page and the result is instant. While this is a fun gimmick, it does make you wonder about the future of 3D on the web. Now that 3D TVs are common and quite affordable, will we see computer monitors and media that take advantage of more advanced 3D technology like LCD shutter glasses?
Senseful Solutions: Show Anchors Bookmarklet
One thing that really annoys me on the internet is when you get to some really big page and find something useful in the middle of the page. You want to link to it, but you can't. If you are lucky, the site owner implemented anchors which allow you to jump to a specific section of the page which does allow you to link to that section. However there are many times I come across webpages that don't have links to the different sections. Some examples are forum posts (mainly non-standard forum engines) and comments on blogs and sites such as YouTube.HYPER-ANCHOR
HYPER-ANCHOR is a bookmark that you can put any position on the webpages. However, the bookmark was able to have been done only in a specific place where the webmaster of the page set up the anchor or the unit of web page so far, HYPER-ANCHOR enables you to bookmark any part of articles, images, tables in the webpages.
