La tassonomia di Bloom per la didattica dell'arte - Didatticarte. Tempo fa avevo iniziato ad approfondire il tema della tassonomia di Bloom relativa agli obiettivi educativi nella sua versione originale e in quella recentemente revisionata.
È un approccio che mi suscita contemporaneamente interesse e perplessità: interesse perché tenta di sistematizzare i livelli di conoscenze e competenze che lo studente deve possedere e che il docente deve valutare, aiutando ad avere dei punti di riferimento “oggettivi” e condivisi; perplessità perché trovo molto accademico e rigido separare le varie abilità che spesso, al contrario, si possono conseguire ed applicare contemporaneamente e in ordine inverso a come prevede Bloom. La tassonomia rinnovata dovrebbe ovviare allo schematismo delle vecchia versione, non avendo un ordine gerarchico tra le abilità. In questa nuova forma è stata adattata all’uso di Pinterest, di Twitter, delle app per iPad e dell’apprendimento attraverso l’uso della tecnologia più in generale.

The Bloom's Digital Taxonomy Cheat sheet we posted awhile ago does feature a collection of educational apps for both iOS and Android (and the web), however, we went ahead and created this visual incorporating some of what we think are the best apps and tools aligned with each of the thinking levels of Bloom's digital taxonomy.
Of course our selection is subjective and based entirely on our previous reviews of these apps and we are very much aware that there are several other great web tools and apps that can fit in this pyramid but due to practical limitations we only featured representative samples in each category. Con il termine tassonomia (dalle parole greche taxis = ordine e nomos = regola) si intende sia la pratica classificatoria effettuata secondo una serie gerarchica, sia la scienza che si occupa dei modi di classificazione. La classificazione tassonomica è la descrizione e la collocazione in ordine di importanza o di precedenza di entità appartenenti ad un sistema oggetto di analisi. Concetti, oggetti ed esseri viventi, eventi e luoghi possono dunque essere classificati seguendo uno schema tassonomico.
Una delle tassonomie più famose in ambito didattico, quella proposta da Benjamin S. Ricomincio da Bloom. Perché ricominciare da Bloom? Non certo per ritornare a Bloom, ma per intraprendere in modo consapevole e con qualche strumento in più i sentieri presenti e futuri dell’insegnamento e dell’apprendimento. Spesso ripercorrere la strada fatta è il miglior modo per non perdersi nel cammino che ancora attende, specie quando questo cammino, come è il caso del territorio dell’educazione, più che a un’autostrada somiglia a un labirinto di teorie, vecchie e nuove pratiche, attese escatologiche, mode assillanti, svariate tecnologie educative, acronimi impronunciabili, innumerevoli modi di declinare l’e-learning, articoli di fede, e così via.
Ricominciare da Bloom è quindi un modo per fare chiarezza sulla questione centrale dell’apprendimento, incentrata sul significato che diamo a questa parola. These are two Blooms Taxonomy palettes that visually explain the learning process associated with this taxonomy. Kelly purposefully designed these palettes to contain different colours because as he argued that learning is also colourful and is therefore composed of many colours. Each learner has his/ her own colour and each colour has is own importance. I think the same can be said of learning. Learning that tells you that you can only use one colour is rather uninspired. August 29, 2014 Bloom's taxonomy is one of the most popular learning taxonomies ever.
Since its release in the last half of the 20th century, it has been widely adopted within the education sector and was used extensively to design and create learning materials and curriculum content. Bloom's taxonomy maps out learning skills along a thinking continuum that starts with lower order thinking skills in one end (e.g. remembering and understanding) and moves up in difficulty to the other end that embraces higher order thinking skills (e.g. evaluating and creating). However, Bloom's taxonomy has been repeatedly modified to suit the requirements of the era in which it is used . Thus, we ended up having different versions of Blooms taxonomy.

I am so grateful to everyone of you for generously contributing with your ideas and links. I just got this poster from a fellow teacher featuring the 6 thinking skills as outlined in the revised taxonomy. As you probably know, Blooms taxonomy that was first created in the 1950s has been revised by Krathwohl and there are two main changes that appeared in this revised taxonomy: the first one is semantic in that nouns are now being replaced with verbs; and the second change relates to the order of these thinking skills. In the old taxonomy, Bloom highlighted the importance of evaluating and therefore placed it at the top of the thinking continuum, but for Krathwohl Creating is the highest order thinking skill.
