Amigurumi No-Sew Hamburger or Cheeseburger. Food has been a routine source of inspiration for all sorts of cuteness, from stationary to Amigurumi and I have always loved recreating it in Amigurumi.
This pattern was inspired by the hamburger from Doki-Doki Yummy Chums, and is a super cute burger that wants to make friends. The pattern is worked continuously in one piece, and finishes up faster than the separate buns, patties and cheese patterns I found online, most of which were pay anyhow. It also needs no sewing, which saves time and pain in the ass factor, and makes it safer for animals and small children. It is perfect for cat toys, just stuff with catnip, or insert a squeaky thing for dog or baby toys and wait for the drool to fly! Ramen Needles: Fetus in a Jar Pattern. Fetus in a Jar Pattern Ohai!
Sorry I haven't posted a pattern in awhile. I've been... working. The Ideal Crochet Sphere. Making a sphere is something that comes up a lot in the realm of crocheting stuff.
But how do you make a really good sphere? This is something that I pondered one day. After a very brief and half-hearted go of it with google, I decided to answer the question myself… by throwing some math at it. How do you create a sphere when you are working in a row-by-row system (like crochet) where all you can alter is the number of stitches per row? Well I assumed that each row is equal to a fixed polar angle , Δθ, within the sphere.
So far, so good. Slakje Sofie. Het is alweer een paar maanden geleden maar ondertussen ben ik stilletjes mijn derde blogjaar ingegaan.
The Duchess' Hands. Ever since I could remember, I've been obsessed with having a turtle for a pet.
It might be the 90's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fever thing or whatever but I just freakin' loved turtles! Then it was only in my third year in college that my life long dream came true. I finally had a pet turtle and named her Hatori, my semi-aquatic soulmate. Adorable little thing. Well... Free Crochet Pattern: Potted Baby Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy. (You have to watch this .gif while listening to Awesome Mix Vol.1) I saw Guardians of the Galaxy last weekend because Manda and our friend Ehren both wanted to see it.
A lot of my friends have been over the moon about it, but I’m really not a comic book person, and the trailer wasn’t really catching my attention. I said I would see it if someone bought my ticket :P. My takeaway from the movie was that WE ALL NEED A BABY Groot, so here is your free crochet GROOTORIAL! 毛線教學 之 如何織出可愛黃色小鴨吊飾！ @ DD's 毛線玩物約會. 毛線教學 之 如何織出可愛黃色小鴨吊飾！

How To: Make clean, even stripes in the round. Making stripes in the round is such a challenge.
Whether it is a hat or armigurumi, you want your piece to look nice on all sides…not just the front. This used to make me totally curse because I am a perfectionist by nature and this just was not going to do. From Planet June Blog Below is an excellent video by June Gilbank of Planet June which shows her method for making perfect stripes. Comical neck warmer « genuine mudpie. So, the internet at our building is broken, so here I am at the local library enjoying free internet. Another reason to love the library :D I’ve had a rather action-packed weekend, and one of the highlights was visiting the new Michaels craft store just 3 subway stops away from my house! :D And because they were having a grand-opening sale, I thought it would be a great opportunity to buy a 16mm crochet hook – for $3! Aside from it being on sale, I also thought it would be good to buy it because I want to try making the felted bucket hat from my last post.
And also learn to make broomstick lace, which requires the use of , well, a broomstick. I excitedly showed my friend who was visiting us for the weekend and her comment was, “it actually looks rather comical!” Cat Corpse Hat. Cat Corpse Hat Courtney Wiche I decided to make this hat because I seriously had nothing better to do. I’d watched every episode of Supernatural—three times—and I couldn’t concentrate on reading or writing or drawing, so I grabbed my notebook full of To-Make-Sketches, and just decided I wanted to make a cat that sits on my head. I had wanted to make the legs really long so that they hung down, but that didn’t work out, obviously . . .
Think Crafty Thoughts: Panda Bear Hat. So one of my friends wanted a pedobear hat for his son, and he wanted it crocheted. I'd yet to crochet a hat, so I wanted to make something as a test pattern. SQUIRTLE. This is a little squirtle I recently finished for the girls. It took me longer than usual, due to the fact I have a bad infection in my eye, which causes my eye to water constantly, making everything blurry all the time. It should clear up in a few days but it's been really a pain trying to work with blurry eyes. LOL (if you click on the picture, it should give you the full sized image) Here's the pattern, and like with the Pichu, my pattern tester is still out of town for at least another week possibly more, so this one hasn't been tested by anyone but me. I've tried to make sure it's complete and error free, but if you do run into anything at all, let me know and I'll make changes asap. :) POKEBALL JEWELRY SET.
