Amigurumi No-Sew Hamburger or Cheeseburger. Food has been a routine source of inspiration for all sorts of cuteness, from stationary to Amigurumi and I have always loved recreating it in Amigurumi.
This pattern was inspired by the hamburger from Doki-Doki Yummy Chums, and is a super cute burger that wants to make friends. The pattern is worked continuously in one piece, and finishes up faster than the separate buns, patties and cheese patterns I found online, most of which were pay anyhow. It also needs no sewing, which saves time and pain in the ass factor, and makes it safer for animals and small children. Sorry I haven't posted a pattern in awhile. I've been... working. The Ideal Crochet Sphere. Making a sphere is something that comes up a lot in the realm of crocheting stuff.
But how do you make a really good sphere? This is something that I pondered one day. After a very brief and half-hearted go of it with google, I decided to answer the question myself… by throwing some math at it. How do you create a sphere when you are working in a row-by-row system (like crochet) where all you can alter is the number of stitches per row? Well I assumed that each row is equal to a fixed polar angle , Δθ, within the sphere.

Whether it is a hat or armigurumi, you want your piece to look nice on all sides…not just the front. SQUIRTLE. This is a little squirtle I recently finished for the girls. It took me longer than usual, due to the fact I have a bad infection in my eye, which causes my eye to water constantly, making everything blurry all the time. It should clear up in a few days but it's been really a pain trying to work with blurry eyes. LOL (if you click on the picture, it should give you the full sized image) Here's the pattern, and like with the Pichu, my pattern tester is still out of town for at least another week possibly more, so this one hasn't been tested by anyone but me.
