This quick and easy crocheted hat makes a great handmade baby shower gift. The hardest part might be choosing the color. A faux rib pattern gives the little turban added interest. Have fun! http://thismamamakesstuff.com/crochet-baby-turban-pattern-tutorial/

Motherhood has not come easy for me in terms of actually getting my children here and I feel so incredibly fortunate and blessed to now find myself with these two darling daughters and a third on the way. The phrases, "late bloomer, " "better late than never," and "good things come to those who wait" come to mind! You just never know how things will turn out. I can't imagine my life without my little muses. While I've always sought creative outlets nothing has been more creatively fulfilling for me than nurturing babies into little children. http://www.aestheticnest.com/2010/07/crochet-best-baby-cloche-and-tutorial.html

O Baby Hat

by Wormie Using a G Hook and baby weight yarn.
You can always count on a random hat pattern from me every now and then. So to not disappoint here is one I whipped up today. Although nothing like the actual Strawberry Shortcake hat, it still sort of reminds me of hers so I will just call it the Strawberry Beret. The best part is this hat is insanely quick and easy to make. In fact the mini photo shoot to show it off proved more time consuming then actually making it. No Kidding....

Newborn Ballcap Pattern

I've made many ballcaps using a light weight baby yarn, however I wanted to use a worsted weight yarn. I adapted the pattern to compensate for the different yarn and wanted to share the end result. I haven't had this pattern tested, hopefully it is clear and error-free. Please contact me if you find any problems with it or have difficulties understanding the directions. Enjoy Newborn Ballcap
