Introducing Crochet-Arium: Charity Project for The Crochet Crowd

We are looking for your help to populate our incredible Crochet-Arium for Creativ Festival this October 2013. We are looking for 1,000 creatures / decor and anything ‘under the sea’ themed for this show. We’ve earned a reputation for showcasing yarn in a creative sense by pushing limits and boundaries. If I could truly convey how incredible our exhibits are and the reactions to up to 20,000 guests who view it first hand, I would gladly share that feeling with you. Our 20′ x 30′ exhibit will appear as if we are at the bottom of the sea. While at the show, guests will be allowed to ‘fish’ from our aquarium with a minimum cash donation that will benefit Crafting For A Cure 100%. I’m a strong believer of charity participation. If you have some extra yarn and would love to be on record for helping us make this exhibit, we would gladly love your help. The Random Draw Winner can choose which item they want. Most of them are super super cute!

Puffed Daisy Hexagon

I'm sorry that it has been a while since my last post, but I've had some technical gremlins here that have kept me off-line! It's been wet, wet, wet here for so long that I've forgotten the last completely dry day we've had – mainly miserable rain, but mixed with some snow for the last few days. Not pleasant to be out in, but the perfect excuse to stay by the fire and crochet! I'm still bobbling along, but the rounds seem to take an age to complete now, so I can only manage one or two rounds at a time... Of course, my itchy fingers have needed something smaller and quicker to create between marathon rounds so some experimenting was in order.
