Crafty Onesies, Homemade Diapers & Assorted Tutorials
Many families who cloth diaper their children use all-natural wool diaper covers. High-quality wool covers are expensive to buy, but you can make your own wool diaper covers, wraps, shorties, and longies from recycled wool sweaters - here's how! Choosing and Prepping Sweaters Head to your local thrift store, or even your closet, to acquire several wool sweaters for making your own wool diaper covers. Choose sweaters that are 100% wool (or very nearly so), free of small holes, and soft (not itchy) to the touch. One wool sweater will generally make one pair of wool longies or shorties, plus one to two pull-up style diaper covers.

Although concern about not having enough milk is the number one reason that mothers wean their babies early, having too much milk can also be a problem. When you consider the fact that a small percentage of women don’t have the capacity to produce enough milk for their babies no matter what they do, then having too much milk is a relatively good breastfeeding problem to have, and is usually fairly easy to resolve. Babies whose moms have too much milk will often exhibit symptoms such as fussing, pulling off the breast, colicky crying, gassiness, spitting up, and hiccupping. They may want to nurse frequently, and they may gain weight more rapidly than the average baby (who usually gains 4-8 ounces each week during the first 3 or 4 months), or they may gain weight more slowly than the average baby. Their stools may be green and watery, and their bottoms may be red and sore.75 TV Free Activities For Toddlers

Breastfeeding is good for you and your baby. It protects your baby against many illnesses and is your baby’s best source of nutrition. According to some experts, babies should be breastfed (given only breast milk) for at least the first 6 months of life, and they should continue to be fed some breast milk until they are at least 1 year old. Can I continue to breastfeed when I return to work?
