Smoothie Bonanza – The recipe bundle

We are so thrilled to present this little project that we have been working on lately! We have been turning fruit, berries, vegetables and liquids into smoothies practically every day for the past couple of years. Sometimes we make them for breakfast, other times for dessert, and always after a workout! We can’t think of a fresher, quicker and more delicious way to boost our bodies with energy.

Since smoothies have become such a common meal for us, we have picked up some tricks and ideas on how to make them more interesting. We have gathered 14 lip-smacking smoothie recipes into a recipe bundle that we just have released as an in-app purchase for our Green Kitchen app. We are of course bias but we feel pretty damn proud of these smoothies and hope they will give you new ideas and inspiration next time you are starting up the blender.

Here is a preview of all the recipes. To give you a preview, we are also sharing one of the recipes here today. Upside-Down Breakfast Smoothie. Super seed banana pudding. - Back to Her Roots. I went to my first concert in middle school.

My eternally hip and cool older brother took me to the Louisville Riverfront to see Southern Culture on the Skids. I think I was too young to really “get” most of the self-deprecating humor. But I had a blast. Especially when they threw fried chicken into the audience. Yes, you read that right. Possibly the most famous of SCOTS songs is one that refers to a particular Southern dessert delicacy that is pale yellow and has Nilla Wafers. Now, don’t get me wrong, I love me some “day old banana puddddddin'” as much as the next girl, but for everyday consumption, regular banana pudding just wouldn’t do. This pudding even earns bonus points for packing a seriously powerful nutritional punch.

Green Breakfast Bowl. I had planned to start the year with a post about cleansing.

Although if you don’t count those cookies, I have actually started the new year pretty clean and healthy. Chakra Fruit Salad with Enlightened Tahini Sauce. To compliment all this running around and hearing a little too much of my own voice, I thought that taking a course where I am on the knowledge-receiving end would do my spirit some good.I decided to take a Reiki class and obtain my level one certification to enhance my abilities to heal myself and others. What is Reiki (ray-key), you ask? Simply put, Reiki is an ancient, energy-based healing art that works as a support mechanism for the body. The light-touch therapy helps to re-establish a normal energy flow throughout the body’s systems, which in turn can enhance and accelerate the body’s innate healing abilities. The word Reiki can be broken down to two parts: Rei meaning universal spirit, and Ki meaning life force energy (in Chinese this is known as “Chi” and in Sanskrit it is known as “Prana”).
