Free #Crochet Pattern: Get Whale Soon Tissue Box Cover Crochet is many things. It is beautiful, it is therapeutic, it is creative. And sometimes it is very very silly. Ahem. Introducing the Get Whale Soon Tissue Box Cover! contiguous [the series 7] seelie pattern : seelie by me yarn : recycled cotton (white) needles : us 8 so here is what the sweater came out looking like. i got bored with the stockinette and buttonholes half way down and switched to just garter for the bottom of the sweater. buttons are from my stash. they are size 1 inch. Ribbed Hand Warmers If you're a careful reader of the Purl Bee, you may have noticed by now what a big fan I am of hand warmers. I love how practical they are (no holding dirty mittens between your teeth while you fish around for keys); I love how fast they are to make (you just can't say that about too many knitted things!); I love how flattering they are on everybody's hands; and, for all these reasons, I love how perfectly suitable they are as gifts (I'm remembering recent recipients: friend Claudia has a pair, so do aunt Bretta, cousin Katie, and sister-in-law Jen.). Ever since Joelle made the Log Cabin Baby Blanket for her new niece out of Anzula's Squishy, I have been really anxious to give it a try. Joelle is a tough customer when it comes to yarn, so her rave reviews of this one set my expectations high. I was not disappointed!

The Sweetie Pie Hat When I first designed the Sweetie Pie Hat four years ago, I had plenty of time on my hands to create patterns. With no one tugging at my sleeve while I knit, I had deep reserves of concentration and loads of patience. But now that I have a one and half year old, updating an old beloved pattern with new yarn and simpler instructions is about all I can handle!! Aladdin Pants Sewing Pattern and Tutorial I made these pants because I wanted something fun and a little different from the pants leggings pants routine of my daughter's wardrobe. My first attempt left something to be desired, so I tried again. This time I love how they turned out. I also love this hearts and flower baby cord that I got from Joann's. I didn't realize it at the time, but its just perfect for the Valentine's Day.
