Springtime Wreath This is my design for a little Springtime Crocheted Wreath. The pattern/tutorial that I'm writing out here is for the circular green part of the wreath, and the general putting together of the whole thing :: you can use whatever flowers you like to adorn it with (the flowers I've used here are my Little Picot Flowers, pattern found here). I've hooked my wreath on a 4mm hook, using Rowan handknit DK cotton. The wreath measures approx 15 cm/6 inches across. I'm using UK crochet terms, as follows :: ♥♥♥ knitloop ♥♥♥ Ok, so jewelry isn’t exactly seasonal, but just look at how well Alyson Fox nails a transition-to-fall color palate. Crochet Hobo Bag I saw this bag and it totally drove me crazy! For days! Can you imagine? As alluring as it could be, I had to restrain myself from placing another order to Knitpicks. They have some really wonderful wool yarns that are so soft and easy to crochet. Knitting Tip - Gloves Fingered Gloves The following pattern is based on gloves (Size 7) knitted in stocking stitch using Cool Wool big with number 3.5 needles. Gloves are normally knitted pretty tightly so you should use a set of needles thinner than you would normally use for this yarn (tension: 21 stitches and 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm). Apart from the thumb gusset the right and left glove are worked in the same way. For the border rib work knit one (through the back of the loop) and purl one. This is how it goes: *Cast on 40 stitches and divide these over 4 needles and work to a round.

The Magic Spike Mandala Square is a 12″ x 12″ afghan block that retains the look of the original mandala but is decidedly blanket-friendly.
