Stained glass posters of famous 80s movies 80s Movie Posters is a series of, well, 80s movie posters designed in the style of stained glass windows. Van Orton Design included iconic movies like Robocop, The Terminator, Blade Runner, and Back to the Future. The posters used bold lines as base for the illustration, then topped it with colorful and vibrant colors to give it that signature stained glass look. So now we have the glass windows, who can volunteer to make the rest of the 80s-inspired cathedral? Anyone? Via Design Taxi City Cyclops Come Touch Things What are you doing for the next four months? Hopefully you'll be spending every day at the Cartoon Art Museum, witnessing the new Small Press Spotlight featuring the work of Jon Adams. You can see artwork in real life, instead of on a computer screen. And if you break the glass, you can touch the artwork.

Spooky Artworks By Daniel Danger 8K views 75 days ago by LostInSpace Daniel Danger is a talented illustrator and printmaker from Boston who is known for, among other things, his beautiful and haunting ink prints. Most of his works are created by hand using ink on cardboard, and then everything is scanned and colored digitally. Creative Illustrations by Alex Solis Chicago based illustrator Alex Solis entertains his followers with his imaginative drawings in different themes. The first set we share here shows the little food thieves that trouble him recently. He explains “Someone has been eating my food, I finally got some evidence with the hidden cameras I installed. I’ll try to post some of the pictures as I capture them.” The second one is taken from his latest series “Sign Language Doodles”.

Impressively Detailed Pen Doodles By Kerby Rosanes Do you remember those imaginative doodles you used to make in your high school notebook? Maybe you still make them. But Phillipine-based illustrator Kerby Rosanes creates doodles (as he calls them) that are probably several orders of magnitude greater than any you or I have ever made. His most recent work is called “Time Guardian.” This stunning portrait of an owl features an unexpected twist – the whole thing is drawn out of minutely detailed gears, cogs and other mechanical bits, giving the soaring owl an intricate steampunk look. Overwhelmingly busy compositions and richly detailed worls are part of Rosanes’ signature style. The self-loathing illustrations of Katie So Destined for Misery is a series of illustrations by Vancouver-based artist Katie So, depicting the everyday anxieties facing women. Each comic is ‘meant to be a personal evaluation of one woman’s six-month period of “self-loathing.” A bout of “pathetic,” “poor-me” analysis’.

German based artist Kerstin Hiestermann belongs to the second group. She has an imaginary character which she calls little monster and she creates floral settings for it and tells us about its adventures. Kerstin says “The child in me is still alive” and generously opens the door of her imagination to her followers.
