PlayBook and iPad2, an unexpected conversation. | Geek Shui Living Tech News, Reviews & Blogs
March 19, 2011 - By Mike Hepples I had an awesome experience yesterday, having the unexpected delight of having one of our readers reach out and email me for my thoughts on a Tablet purchase. This first email ended up turning into an entire lengthy conversation, and I asked her for her permission to post it, so that others might benefit. Her questions were so perceptive, she had me arguing both sides of the PlayBook vs iPad decision with some serious discussions on the pros and cons of each. It is extremely hard to give advice to someone on what to purchase when it comes to technology, we all tend to have our own bias.First Orbit Documentary | Documentary Videos

Kimberly, people are still dying because they do not have the medicine they need because of "greed". You are trying to compare apples and oranges. Pollution is not so much a result of greedy business people as you call them (you're being to general) but it is definately greed playing a very big part in preventing our doing things that WE CAN do to address the problem. Just as important though is the part played by the avg. citizens of the industrialized world not wanting to let go of their SUVs and wasteful practices. There is no "give and take" as you put it. Life is out of balance. We kill innocent people all over the world to steal and control their resources. This is not balance....it is naked aggression....Murder...and it has to be stopped. by Oct 9
for eating habit and rise in sea level.. i dont think it's necessary to change our eating habits. it's good though, obecity is scary, and fast food makes some people lazy (some, in other side fast/forsen food is a big help in rush schedule).and, about rises in sea level, it's just natural phenomena.. now earth is closer to the sun, thats also the reason of what now people call 'global warming' which in my opinion, doesnt make sense.. global warming because pollution. by Oct 8
in my opinion. it has no relation between human and environment and anything else. world (earth) has abilities to support human no matter how bad the human is. religion is more talking about morally so that human not 'eat' other human and can live in harmony and can breath oxygen.
if now many people die because of the 'poluted' environment, so did at the past, people died because of no-medicine. it's more like take and give. human has tendency to look the bad side of something, such as environment poluted and it's because the greedy business people. in my opinion, not at all. go back to where to the past, no polution and no business, but yes diseases and yes ultimate authority. now, yes polution and yes business, but almost no disease -every disease can be cured by technology which needs money from (non ultimate or = various) businesses, and in order to have that, somehow business has to take something.
so, in my opinion. it is more or less like take and give. no actual ultimate loss. by Oct 8
