Enchilada Lasagna | Mogwai Soup. This is without a doubt my husbands all time favorite dish. I got this recipe from his sister, and made just a few tiny adjustments to it. It is a very mild Mexican dish, and pretty much fail proof. I don't make it often enough though, specially if you ask my hubby. He would like to have it at least once a week. Problem is, he eats one pan full on his own, most often in one sitting, and that is just not good for him, other people in the house or the budget! Enchilada Lasagna Ingridients: 2 tbsp of vegetable oil 1 lbs chicken breast, chopped to bite pieces 5 cups of mexican blend cheese 1 can of cream of celery 1 can of cream of chicken 1 1/2 cups sour cream 1/4 cup canned and chopped green chillies (drained) small corn tortillas 1 tsp cumin 2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp pepper Brown chicken in a pan on 2 tbsp of oil. Prepare the dish you will assemble the lasagna in. Count on getting at least seconds, it really is that good!

As soon as I thought of making these I got a huge kick out of naming them Party Animals. Hilarious, but if you hear groaning…it’s coming from my house. Regardless of how cheesy the name is, these turn out awesome. Your kid’s favorite animal holding that birthday candle minus those red eyes that are oh so typical for plastic creatures, awesome.
Supplies - plastic animalsplastic candle holdersdrill with 1/8″ drill bitpliersgold spray paint For the plastic animals, you can use any kind you can find. Hold the animal with the pliers and drill a hole straight down, being careful not to pop out the other side. Spray paint the animals in a few light coats, rotating them to cover all sides.
I also painted the candle holders to match. That’s it. {Photos by Hank + Hunt for The Sweetest Occasion.} Kit Kat CHUNKY. A brownie by any other name… | King Arthur Flour - Baking Banter. Love brownies. Love their shiny, flaky top that shatters into micro-thin shards that shower onto your fingers as you eat. Love their dark, gooey center. Their “chocolate nirvana” flavor. Sometimes can’t deal with the bake, wait to cool, cutting into squares messiness and fuss of brownies. Every time I make these cookies (which, truth be told, is quite often), I think of a former colleague, Ana, who left King Arthur last year in order to be a full-time mom to her 2-year-old twins.
The test kitchen bakers loved Ana. Ana still visits occasionally, 2-year-olds in tow. And when she does, she’ll invariably nose out any chocolate, and treat us to her classic reaction: “Perfect! These cookies are basically brownies: flat, round, 2 ½” brownies. First task: Combine the chocolate and butter. Melt in the microwave till softened… …then stir till smooth. Stir the chocolate into eggs and sugar, which you’ve beaten together. Refrigerate the batter for an hour; it’ll stiffen up nicely. Buy vs. How to Cook | Cook&s Country - Recipes That Work. Some of them smashed up against each other while others sat on top of each other but in the end, they all tasted… fantabulous. And then they tasted extra delicious after I spent two hours cleaning out the contents of our bar (take that as you will), after he spent three hours organizing the pantry (that was weird) and after we both needed to severely eat our emotions immediately post-Boardwalk Empire finale.

With my wedding plans well under way, in addition to an upcoming engagement party and the fiance's big 3-0, let's just say I've been in full on entertaining mode. The internet has been a fabulous (if not overwhelming) source of creativity. With all the extra inspiration coming my way however, I feel the need to harness the overload of ideas into a few solid hostess home runs. I've always loved the idea of a themed dessert bar for a party. For my own, I thought it would be fun to create the "ultimate snack bar," featuring homemade versions of all my store-bought junk food favorites—think ding dongs, cereal bars, twinkies and whatever other whacky gas station goods I can think of.
I was hashing the idea out with a coworker and she demanded I make her Nutty Bars, a Lil' Debbie snack I had all but forgotten about. Despite the onslaught of preservatives, the flavors are simple: chocolate, peanut butter, and sweet wafer. Broccoli parmesan fritters. Last week, it was pointed out to me that among the 750 recipes in the archives, there is but a single recipe that utilizes broccoli.
Just one! (It’s a great one, though.) For comparison, there are 11 recipes that use cauliflower and 26 with mushrooms. What terrible oversight could have led to this? I buy broccoli (and its friends) approximately once a week, year-round but this wasn’t always the case. I never disliked broccoli — I’m not this guy — but it wasn’t until my toddler took a great interest in chomping down on huge florets, raw, cooked, or three days old, that it became part of our regular rotation. Please understand: this is not one of those stories about how preciously advanced my toddler’s tastes are, how early he took an interest in foie gras and how he turns his nose up at white flour pastas, preferring farro.
So, you know where this is going. And with that, I had them for lunch instead. Broccoli Parmesan Fritters In the bottom of a large bowl, lightly beat your egg. 100 Ways to Cook... - StumbleUpon.
