Raspberry Cordial Vodka Martini

See my privacy policy for details. Last week I showed everyone How to Make Anne of Green Gables Raspberry Cordial, a summer must-make in my books from now on. During the process of trying to shoot the photos for the recipe I ended up taking this picture below: You can certainly see where my mind went from here, can’t you? Straight to alcohol. Not that my mind usually goes straight to alcohol, unless of course, it’s a school day…or the weekend. I put this in a shot glass for the photo shoot and immediately started wondering what I could make with this ruby red beauty. Raspberry and vodka go together like Sonny and Cher and just like that famous duo, it’s crystal clear who the real star is. You ain’t gonna find this Sonny and Cher in your neighborhood pub, unless they are hipsters who are making their own cordial.

The secret to this drink is that you already made a stunning base. Mike thinks it’s too sweet. I, uh…. Yah, I got nothing. Love, How To Make Homemade Hot Cocoa / Hot Chocolate Mix. This post may contain affiliate links.

See my privacy policy for details. This has got to be one of my favorite cocktails and it’s all thanks to Jörg Meyer who owns Le Lion in Hamburg. Jörg created this masterpiece back in 2008 after being inspired by the Whisky Smash (also a great cocktail by a guy called Dale DeGroff!). The Gin Basil Smash is basically an alternative take on the gin mojito that swaps the mint for muddled basil, but it’s definitely in a league of its own. The Boating Punch Cocktail. This cocktail is potent, so be prepared.. but it is also a great sipping cocktail. I’ve always been a fan of vintage cocktails. I guess it’s because I feel like a lot of cocktails nowadays are comprised of too much juice, sugar or other ingredients which end up just making me feel full or nauseous from the sugar.
