Rival Angels - New Readers
Rival Angels updates every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday . This is the story about four girls who battle for survival in the ring of women’s wrestling, only for them to discover that surviving their battles with each other outside the ring is a completely different matter. This is where you can come and catch up or re-read your favorite episodes. NEW READERS and STUMBLEUPON Users: Use the RSS feed to keep up to date on all of the Rival Angels updates.I have been doing this for so long that I find myself somewhat at a loss for words. For the last six months or so, I have been very focused on finally finishing Digger’s unexpectedly epic journey (some of you undoubtedly remember those first five pages, and my constant refrain that I was just doodling and not to get attached!) but I didn’t actually spend much time thinking about what to say once I did. I guess the only thing to say is “Thank you!” So many readers have given me so much encouragement and support and time over the years that I won’t even try to name them all.

BOOK 1 at San Diego Comic Con! If you're going to SDCC this year, drop by the 4th Dimension Entertainment booth in the small press area, and pick up a copy of Phoenix Requiem Book 1! There will also be special exclusive hard cover copies available! Sadly I wasn't able to make it to SDCC this year due to a job-hunting situation, but if I was, I'd give you a big hug for buying my book and supporting all my years of drawing :)

Last week my personal hero, Jean “Moebius” Giraud , died at 73. There has never been a more singular influence in my work and career, and his passing has been deeply felt by the world of comics and pop art. While many in America may not recognize the name, Moebius has had a heavy hand in the direction of modern science fiction since the early 1970s, including Alien , Bladerunner and Tron .Writing comics is a lot of friggin' fun. If you've got an idea for a comic, web or otherwise, my advice is: do it, do it now . Yes, there's a lot of complicated processes involved in setting up comics for web or print, but you'll pick up the necessary skills as you go (it just involves reading a lot of FAQs). But I assure you, making comics is a brickload of giggles, even during the more technical steps. When I started doodling comics back in 2008, I didn't know jack about html.

I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to watch Late Night from the UNC Chapel Hill campus with guest President Obama. So, instead of reviewing a Monday night show, here were my favorite monologue jokes from tonight’s Late Night with Jimmy Fallon : I am so excited. This is unbelievable.
