birdy Bookmark

I made a little birdy bookmark made with some yarn and a paperclip. Cute as a small gift or using to keep track when reading a book. I designed it myself and thought it would be nice to write down the pattern in case I wanted to make another one. So, maybe you want to try it out yourself. DIY Crochet Dog Harness

When it is long enough prepare to attach the first half of the clip. 2) Take your loop and feed it through the notches in the buckle, then complete stitch. 3) Now do another stitch going up the length of the buckle. 4)Now we can double over on our chain until we reach the other end, where we'll have to attach the other half of the clip the same way.

Continue this process until about half of the space available for attachment on either side of the buckle it taken up. When this is finished tie off the first strand and return to part 1 of this step this time to your second measurement continue until you've reached the first half of the harness. To attach these straps use you're yarn needle and sew them together beginning at the buckle go in 1/8 of the over all length of the shorter strap, repeat on the other side. P.S. Anyway Wrap Pattern. By Nancy Nehring Evdokia Sarecheff Yakovleff Gunn lived an amazing life.

Crochet One of Evdokia's Edgings

Born in Russia in 1902, she fled to Shanghai following the Russian Revolution in 1925 and gave birth to her daughter Helen three days after she arrived. She thrived in Shanghai, knitting and crocheting items for her family and for a Chinese textile company, until 1941 when the Japanese sent all foreigners to internment camps. Evdokia and Helen survived this ordeal and returned to Shanghai when the war was over in 1945. After that, Helen married an American and moved to the United States; Evdokia moved to England in 1949 and continued to knit and crochet until her death in 1973. Crochet Swan Centers. Fruit Cardigans

I had seen pictures of them before, and they seemed like a cute (but perhaps impractical) idea. Anna had sent me a link to an apple jacket pattern, and she seemed pretty sure she would actually use one (my main objection to making these was that, though these cute little cozies have a definite “cool factor”, I wasn’t sure that anyone would actually use one. So, I designed my own version of the Apple Jacket.
