Lace Ballet Skirt w/ Raw Edges DIY Fashion * 1 yard of lace fabric …unless you want it longer, then measure appropriately {I had an almost square piece of vintage ivory lace} * Matching thread * Ribbon {color & size & texture of your choice} * Scissors, pins, tape measure * This is a simple drawstring style skirt. * Cut edges off lace, and into a circle of sorts. I left the longer sides flat because cutting a full circle would have made the skirt shorter. If you want more of a mini skirt, a perfect circle would be more appropriate. * Lay out your lace and find the center. Galaxy Shoes Hey tea birds! I hope all your Saturdays have been beautiful! Men's Short 2 A while back Miranda of One Little Minute contacted me about participating in a blogger refashion challenge--swap-style, so we all make items for each other! The challenge of the "The Button Up Refashion Swap": upcycle a men's shirt into something cute for your partner! I'm sure we've all done shirt upcycles before, but this time it's for someone else, so you've got to use their measurements and hopefully match their style a little bit! So, wanna see what I made?? And a photo tutorial for my steps in the upcycle! I started with a basic men's shirt, sort of sateen-ey.
