[asfa//talent] There is no "big picture"; there is no end to the small pictures. We all hear the music, we all watch the movies. Only 24 hours in each day, only seven days per week. The ideas are endless; the restless need to go to a new place. Get comfortable but not stagnant. If I can help facilitate the time, place, and process that each creator needs to work in, if the work is revealed, if it gets to where it should go, then I'll get some sleep. DIY Blue Mason jars Happy Wednesday, friends! I know you’ve seen them everywhere…..blue mason jars! I think its the only way to make a delectable mason jar even more scrumptious!
All Things Lovely I am little obsessed with Instagram at the moment, especially since I'm doing the Photo A Day challenge. Friends sometimes ask what apps I use for all my photos so I thought I'd share my favourites. This isn't a sponsored post, just my favourite and most used apps. I take the majority of my photos just with the camera on the iPhone. I never use the camera in the Instagram App, and will only edit my photos in Instagram if I'm in a hurry.
DESIGN SQUAD . Activity Guide Skip Navigation PBSKids Go! Design Squad Parents, Educators & Engineers Party Favor: Bath Tea When I had the pleasure of planning my best friend’s bridal shower last year, I was searching for the perfect favor for our guests to go home with. The theme was a bridal tea, full of tasty sandwiches, mini desserts, tea cups and saucers. I thought about various options for the favor, but many seemed a waste, something that would probably get a smile and then unfortunately be thrown away or placed on a shelf never to be thought of again. After searching for ideas, I came across various companies who sell Bath Tea, lovely little bags of herbs, salt and oatmeal with the purpose to relax or invigorate, depending on the blend. I was sold! There was only one problem — 40 ladies were invited to the shower and at $3-$5 a pop, I just could not stomach spending so much.
Page: 7 Although my husband and I shared our bedroom with each of our babes for a little over three months, we knew it was a temporary solution, and, as such, no decor changes were made to our adult haven. But what if there is no other nursery waiting for your little bundle of joy? Here are some inspiring ideas for carving out a special space for your baby without making it feel like your room has been taken over by baby safari animals, primary colors, and cutesy prints: DESIGN SQUAD . Little Tin Bird » Basic Granny Square Pattern As promised, here is my pattern for the Basic Granny Square. I didn’t invent this pattern in the slightest, (obviously) but I’m going to show you step by step how to make the basic granny square. When I started to learn I couldn’t find a pattern that I could understand easily and so I hope to change that by doing one with lots of pictures :-) This is the pattern I used to make the squares for the Granny Alice blanket (above). For this pattern, you will need to know how to chain stitch, and how to make a UK treble (TR) stitch. This is equivalent to the US double (DC) stitch but I will be using the UK terminology for this pattern.
