Whimsyshire. Whimsyshire is an easter egg level in Diablo III, similar to the Secret Cow Level of Diablo II.
The enemy monsters featured here are flowers, unicorns, and teddy bears. The level itself is created in a different style than the rest of the game, map being drawn to look like a child's painting. Normal world objects, chests, health globes etc. are replaced by toys, happy clouds, sweeties etc. The Horadric Hamburger and Spectrum can only be obtained in Whimsyshire. Whimsyshire was originally made as a response to criticism regarding the game's graphics being 'too cartoon-like' and 'too bright'. The Whimsyshire layout may appear in Nephalem Rifts if the player has ever been to Whimsyshire before. Gaining entry Edit Whimsyshire can be accessed through the following steps (Note: as they have become account bound, these items cannot be collected from various players). Acquire all items Edit. Black Mushroom. Leoric's Shinbone. Leoric's Shinbone is an item used to access Whimsyshire that can be found in a fireplace in Leoric's Manor only on the PC version of Diablo 3.
The fireplace appears to always spawn, but the logs may not. If the logs do not spawn in the fireplace you will not receive the shinbone. If this happens you must reload the game by clicking Leave Game, then Resume Game. Work from Act 1:9 (The Imprisoned Angel) or beyond*. To get there take the waypoint to Leoric's Manor (last one if you choose the Imprisoned angel quest). There will be a checkpoint that will allow you to leave the game and rejoin it in the mansion to quickly farm the item. *While finishing Trailing the Coven this can still be performed.
Liquid Rainbow. The Liquid Rainbow is a miscellaneous crafting material in Diablo III, it is used to construct the Staff of Herding which is necessary to access Whimsyshire.
It has an Item Level of 1 and requires a character level of 1. "The colors swirl and twist in hypnotic patterns. " This item can be very difficult to obtain, as the procedure is fairly random. Wirt's Bell. Wirt's Bell is a miscellaneous crafting material in Diablo III, it is used to construct the Staff of Herding which is necessary to access Whimsyshire.
It has an Item Level of 1 and requires a character level of 1. "When the demons come, close your eyes and ring this... it takes you far, far away... " —Unknown. Gibbering Gemstone. The Gibbering Gemstone is a miscellaneous crafting material in Diablo III.
It is used to construct the Staff of Herding, which is necessary to access Whimsyshire. It has an Item Level of 1 and requires a character level of 1. "It seems to be active but it's difficult to tell. " Acquisition Edit There is only one of two possible dungeons in the Fields of Slaughter at a time, one being the Icefall Caves, the other being Caverns of Frost. Ballista spawn points share the same locations as the Caverns of Frost/Icefall Caves. Also note that after the checkpoint after completing Machines of War, Tyrael will join you for a short time. When you find the Caverns of Frost you will be looking for a purple-named, or a rare, boss called Chiltara, that usually spawns in the second level of the cave. It may be better to reload the map if Chiltara doesn’t spawn in Cavern of Frost level 2.

The Normal version (and only the Normal version) of the plans are dropped randomly by Izual on Act 4: Prime Evil (on any difficulty level). Head to The Crystal Colonnade and find your way to the Gateway to the Silver Spire. Next you will enter the Silver Spire Level 1, and finally encounter Izual on The Great Span. Plans also are dropped randomly by Diablo, found after the Silver Spire Level 2 after Izual. Note: The plans are not a guaranteed drop.
