Blogger vs. A Complete Comparison. Not long ago I wrote a two-part series about the main differences between a self-hosted blog and the other option of using a “free” blogging service.

Blogger vs. A Complete Comparison

Opinions were split but there’s no arguing that the two undisputed kings of the free blogging sphere are Google’s Blogger and the content management system-turned-host While both offer what every free-thinking democracy-guzzling thought-cannon wants – a place to express themselves – there are some core differences in each service. Both and Blogger are workable free solutions, but which is the right one for you? This detailed breakdown of each service should hopefully help you decide. Misbehaving by Richard H. Thaler. Phishing for Phools by George A. Akerlof, Robert J. Shiller. Ever since Adam Smith, the central teaching of economics has been that free markets provide us with material well-being, as if by an invisible hand.

Phishing for Phools by George A. Akerlof, Robert J. Shiller

In Phishing for Phools, Nobel Prize-winning economists George Akerlof and Robert Shiller deliver a fundamental challenge to this insight, arguing that markets harm as well as help us. As long as there is profit to be made, sellers will systematically exploit our psychological weaknesses and our ignorance through manipulation and deception. Rather than being essentially benign and always creating the greater good, markets are inherently filled with tricks and traps and will "phish" us as "phools. " Phishing for Phools therefore strikes a radically new direction in economics, based on the intuitive idea that markets both give and take away. Akerlof and Shiller bring this idea to life through dozens of stories that show how phishing affects everyone, in almost every walk of life. Publisher: Princeton University Press ISBN: 9780691168319. Happy Digestion Smoothie

Actually, I’m feeling a bit out of whack as a whole. Maybe I was naïve, but I really didn’t anticipate the postpartum phase to be so challenging, on many different levels. The pregnancy seems to get the most attention while the period after having a baby seems to be all about getting back to your old self as soon as possible. At least in the media. I guess I expected that for myself too, but it’s not my personal reality nor is it for many other new moms I’ve talked to. The intensity seems to be lifting as the months go on. The advice I often give to others is to make small changes when starting out, so that’s what I’ve been doing recently. Pear and Vanilla Smoothie. This is a no-banana smoothie, which I know is something lots of you have been asking for! It’s taken me a while to create a banana free smoothie that I love, but this one is such a winner and I think you’ll all love it too. The mix of almond milk, almond butter, pear, spinach and oats work really well – it’s so creamy that you really don’t miss the texture that banana normally gives and somehow it’s still nice and sweet. I love adding vanilla powder to add a rich flavour, but if you don’t have this don’t worry.

A big glass of this is the best way to start your day, it’s so energising and full of all the goodness you need to feel amazing. Banana, Date and Almond Shake. I really love smoothies, but sometimes it’s kind of nice to change them up a little. My Favourite Green Smoothie. Green smoothies have been insanely popular this month! It’s really awesome to see them popping up in so many places as more and more people get excited about the power of green veggies. I’ve actually become totally addicted to them too over the past few weeks and haven’t had a day without one! I’ve tried a lot of different combinations during this time and have found this one to be the winner. It’s amazingly green thanks to the juiced cucumber and celery yet nicely sweet thanks to the banana, which means that the whole thing doesn’t taste overly veggie!

Happy Digestion Smoothie. Nutty Pea & Quinoa Bowl. Start by cooking the quinoa – you want about double the amount of boiling water to quinoa and let it boil for about 12-15 minutes. While that cooks, toast the almonds in a large frying pan with 1 tablespoon of tamari. Let the heat until they start to brown and slightly catch. Put to one side In the same pan (but without the almonds) add 4 tablespoons of olive oil, crushed garlic and chilli flakes. Start to heat this, once it’s bubbling add the chopped kale and courgette. Place the peas in a pan with cold water, bring them to the boil and then drain them.

Add the other half of the peas, the courgette, kale, 1 tablespoon of tamari and a little olive oil into the quinoa and stir, season to taste. Book Two Recipe: Chickpea, Quinoa and Turmeric Curry.
