Nail polish jewelry. When I was in China last summer, I remember noticing that most girls had ponytails tied with a scrunchie with bunny ears.

I could never pull this off, but thought it was adorable, and kept it in mind for an Easter DIY. It's a great way to use fabric scraps, a simple accessory to wear at an Easter party, and a sweet Easter gift for a little girl. When I was done with the DIY, I saw that there was a similar one on YouTube. Since it's done, I'm still posting my version, but if you would rather follow video instructions, then just hop on over to Ann Le's video tutorial. Also, I wanted to take a picture on myself to show the final result, but I really REALLY look awful these days, as a result of that never-ending sickness and tiredness.

Okay, on to the DIY! Mini Folk Charm Necklace. SilverJewelryClub.com. Bracelet. FASTEST FRIENDSHIP BRACELET EVER. We were super excited to share the Fishtail Friendship bracelet tutorial with you and we are even more excited to share that we've found an easier way to do it.

FASTEST FRIENDSHIP BRACELET EVER

Don't get me wrong, I will still use the original technique to create more intricate designs but, this new tutorial is so quick you will end up wanting to make one in every color combination possible (like we did!) This tutorial is very similar to the other one so I will just share with you the differences. 1. You will only need to choose three colors of embroidery/friendship thread. Chop them all nice and small. Easy, Eco-Friendly Silver Tarnish Remover. I recently pulled out a bunch of old jewelry and silverware that was in storage and was shocked to see how much tarnish had built up over the last 10 years!

Easy, Eco-Friendly Silver Tarnish Remover

I cleaned it all up easily and without any harsh tarnish removers using an eco-friendly stovetop method. All you need is a large pan (see bottom of the post on how to manage larger pieces of silver), mild dish soap, tin foil and baking soda: (see more after the jump) Step 1: Use some mild soap to remove any dirt and oils from the silver that might block the process from working: Step 2: Line the pan with aluminum foil: Step 3: Add enough water to the pan so that the silver will be completely covered: Step 4: Turn the stove heat to medium high and add about a tablespoon of baking soda for every 4 cups of water.

Step 5: Once the baking soda is dissolved and water starts to boil, carefully lower in your silver using a utensil or tongs: Step 7: Carefully lift out the silver and let cool. P.S. Kate Spade Inspired Bangle. Remember this post about the Kate Spade bangles?

Kate Spade Inspired Bangle

Well, while I am out enjoying Paris I thought I'd show you how to make one! What are your plans for Easter? I just love this holiday, spring is just coming around and life is just so much better now that the snow is melting. Decal Penny Pendant. Drapery Ring Pendants. Button jewelry is nothing new, but when I found such a beautiful cupid-on-a-bird button the other day on Etsy, it arrived in my mailbox the same day as some vintage brass 1″ drapery rings I bought on ebay.

Drapery Ring Pendants

They were a perfect combination for a unique pendant. I dug around my studio for other small round objects and also found an old brass drawer knob piece, yellow and purple plastic buttons, an old tool-check tag and a little bling from a broken earring. I bent some gold colored wire through the holes of the plastic buttons and using E-6000 Adhesive, glued the different items into or onto the rings. The shank of the bird button didn’t need trimming off when using the drapery ring, as it didn’t stick out as much as it would without the depth of the ring.

Now, with a simple chain, I have cool, vintage interchangeable pendants for different outfits or moods. Crafty: PT and TP Roll Pendants.
