Birthday Cake&Dip - Home - Burgh Baby
This recipe has been floating around Pinterest for some time, and I finally had the perfect excuse to try it. Between birthday parties and picnics and more picnics, I actually had WAY more than plenty of excuses. I made it once and it flew out of the bowl, so now I've tweaked the recipe and made it about four more times. In other words, the idea is a keeper. Kids especially seem to like it, and I pretty much always have the ingredients on hand, so it's easy to throw together in a hurry. Birthday Cake DipDIY: cupcake in a jar

Potato Rings with Homemade Buttermilk Ranch
If french fries and onion rings ever got married and had a baby, I think it would be something like this…a potato ring. You have a light and crispy outer coating with a soft potato and caramelized onion center…why? Because we can I guess, who knows…but it’s kind of fun, right?!Brown Butter Double Fudge Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cookies
Little bit of a mouthful there.Skinny Mashed Potatoes
Mashed potatoes are one of my favorite things to eat on Thanksgiving, but this year since I am pregnant and on a really strict low carb diet (for my diabetes) real mashed potatoes are out (bummer). I recently started researching alternatives to some of my favorite dishes because there is NO way my plate will be without a big ole pile of mash potatoes. I came across this recipe that uses cauliflower instead of potatoes.broccoli parmesan fritters
Last week, it was pointed out to me that among the 750 recipes in the archives , there is but a single recipe that utilizes broccoli . Just one! (It’s a great one , though.)Every once in a while I get an unstoppable craving for meatloaf. It doesn’t happen often, but when it does, there’s nothing to do but drop everything and make meatloaf. Good old, plain old, reliable meatloaf. And usually with this craving comes the need to have mashed potatoes and peas-and-carrots with the meatloaf.
