Dalton Ghetti creates amazing art on the tips of used pencils. Most of us will agree with the age-old saying that “patience is a virtue.” How many of you, however, would actually hang on for two years and a half to bring a piece of art into existence? Dalton Ghetti, 49, a Bridgeport artist, has spent 25 good years working with a razor blade, a sewing needle and a sculpting knife for carving his unique art on the graphite of pencil.

The artist says: I don’t make money from it but I would love a gallery owner in England to fly me over and put on a show. The inclination to fashion something new did not surface all of a sudden. Rather, a childhood hobby evolved into remarkable art with time. You could see, in below images, how he utilizes the leftovers of used graphite pencils to create tiny sculptures. Some amazing things are happening in Lisbon; this wall is just incredible, and Sam3 is getting in on the action too. Of course, Blu's bloated corporate figure sucking the world dry is very topical. Update: the eyes of the fat corporate guy are suspended from the roof, so move in the wind. so good. See more Blu + more Os Gémeos. artists: Blu + Os Gémeoslocation: Lisbon via Os Gémeos' blog.

This is the first of its kind post on Designzzz. The reason this subject of watercolor paintings is selected because these paintings cannot carry as much detail as other routine oil or digital paintings. And as usual, all the image names are properly linked back to the sources, just click them if you would like a large scale image. What do you think about these kind of posts? Hotel Rubi. A Father Who Creatively Captures His Kids (20 photos) If there was a prize that could be given out to the most creative father, I'd hope that it was awarded to Jason Lee. A wedding photographer by day, he's used to capturing some of the most important moments in a couple's lives. As a longtime fan of Jason's photos on Flickr however, I think the real magic happens when he turns the camera onto his daughters. Sure, his children are adorably cute in their own right, but that's not what makes his photos so interesting. It's when he puts his own spin on their everyday moments that we not only get to experience our own childhood again, we're able to see a father's pride shine through.

I was able to get in touch with Jason to ask him a few questions. Q: How did you get into photography? Q: How do you come up with such creative photos of your daughters? Q: How has being on Flickr helped you with your business? Q: Any inspirational stories you'd like to share? Q: Do you have any advice for aspiring photographers? Q: Any quotes you live by?
