And apparently talking about them turns me into a complete goofball. Beyond the Roundels - Doctor Who Crossovers - recs. One of the things I most enjoy about fanfic are crossovers.
It's one of the things that fanfic was made for, because they aren't possible by and large in the real world. When it comes to Doctor Who, this is doubly true because the TARDIS can turn up anywhere and generally does. (I have doubts about cartoons, though, just because of picturing 2D people meeting 3D, but that's just me). So, some of my favourites so far. Please note, these are recs, and not mine, even if I might wish some of them were. I am full of anticipation and would quite like the clock to run a bit faster now. But since that seems unlikely to happen and I am not in possession of a TARDIS I am need of something to do while waiting for the episode. Doctor_rose_fix: AUs and Crossover Recs! It also helps that David Tennant, Christopher Eccleston, and Billie Piper have other delicious roles and we just can't but use them in a variety of roles. Myfieldnotes - Doctor Who and Torchwood Fic Rec Discussion - Media West. The idea for a fic rec panel came about two years ago when [ Wraithfodder ] did an awesome one for Stargate Atlantis.
It was like a Fanfic Nato Summit with laptops and everything as people called out and culled from their favorite lists and others pulled up the url's as they went. Theirs is kind of a prickly relationship, but not in the way Six and Peri are, more so because Charley has to harbor secrets about the fact that she knows the Doctor in his future, daresay fell in love with him, before the days of the reboot when that was a more common occurrence.
