Attribué à "l'Asile des photographies" Editions Le Point du jour Le 29 octobre, Prix Nadar Gens d’images a été remis, en collaboration avec la Bibliothèque nationale de France, à l’ouvrage "L'Asile des photographies", publié par les éditons Le Point du jour, photographies contemporaines de Mathieu Pernot, textes de l'historien Philippe Artières, archives de la Fondation Bon-Sauveur. Installé à Cherbourg, Le Point du jour est à la fois un lieu d’exposition et une maison d’édition tournés vers la photographie. Le Prix Nadar Gens d'images récompense depuis 1955 un livre consacré à la photographie ancienne ou contemporaine édité en France au cours de l’année. Visitors were able to walk two miles over the thick ice of Lake Superior to see the ice formations that run up the coastline.
