This Rawsome Vegan Life
So my partner and I are beginning our liquid feast today, and ending on 4/20 (heh heh heeeeh). What the HECK is a liquid feast, one might inquire? We're only gonna consume liquids for the next seven days; in the form of juices, smoothies, puddings, nut mylks, teas and water. Okay, but WHY the heck would you do this, another person might ask? Because it's fun and makes us feel great! Well... he's never done this before so I shouldn't assume... but I can confidently say it makes ME feel great.

Restaurant Style Chinese Hot and Sour Soup (Vegan) - Recipes, Soups I’ve always been crazy for restaurant style hot and sour soup, and I am always so crazy about how they make it so delicious. I made this a few months ago but with too little cornstarch, so I had to make it again. (Also, I wanted to eat this again, mwhahaha!) A few ingredients that may be hard to find are bamboo shoots and black fungus. Butternut Squash Pasta Recipe Creamy Butternut Squash Pasta Creamy Butternut Squash Pasta with crispy sage leaves-a comforting pasta recipe for fall! Butternut squash always makes me think of the song, ‘Build Me Up Buttercup.’ I always start singing the classic song, but change the lyrics to “build me up butterNUT.”

Bonjour Darling sur Pinterest Log in Home Categories There’s more to see... Come take a look at what else is here! Bonjour Darling Bordeaux · www.bonjourdarling.com · How to Grow an Endless Supply of Lemons Indoors Growing a lemon trees from seed is surprisingly easy. Generally, lemon trees flourish outdoors year-round in hot areas, but they can also grow indoors as edible houseplants. They can be easily grown from seed and are a nice looking plant. It requires very little equipment and a few seeds from an organic lemon. Celeriac Mash Celeriac, you know that weird looking root that you may have eyed at the store... it makes an awesome mash. This dish is for the whole family to enjoy and it's a nice change from regular mashed potatoes, although it's not like anyone could ever have too much mashed potatoes. Celeriac or celery root is not really starchy like other roots, is a member of the parsley family and it has a celery-ish flavor.

The infinite battery (crystal cell battery) look around you right now what do you see? I see limitless energy just waiting to be harnessed, The question is how? Answer: using Crystal power cell, but how does on work? Celery Root Soup I have to say that celery root (also known as celeriac) really is the ugly ducking of vegetables. For years I would pass it at the market, not thinking it looked at all appetizing and not really knowing what to do with it. Sometimes when ingredients look like a ton of work, I shy away. What was I thinking? Inside that ugly duckling is a culinary swan!

How to Make a Battery That Lasts Practically Forever When going off the grid, it’s safe to assume that most folks will be relying on solar panels for much of their electrical needs. However, a lack of sunlight can present a few problems for any would-be prepper. If only there was a cheap and simple way to supplement a solar panel array on those cloudy days. Fortunately, there is such a way, and I’m willing to bet that most of you reading this have never heard of it (I hadn’t until recently). It’s called a Dickens Magnesium Battery after it’s inventor, Stephen Dickens; though the principles behind its function have been around for a very long time. If anything it may be more of a rediscovery, than a completely novel idea.

Make a Batch of Midsummer Mead Litha is a great time to take advantage of nature’s abundance – there’s stuff blooming everywhere – and brewing batch of homemade mead is an excellent way to do this! Mead is an alcoholic beverage made from fermented honey, so what better way to celebrate the summer? First, let’s look at a brief history of mead, which is believed to have originated in Africa, somewhere around 20,000 years ago. Nomadic people figured out that when bees nested in trees, and their honey combined with water and osmotolerant yeast spores, the end result was a tasty drinkable beverage. How To Grow Your Own Turmeric. It Is FAR Better Than Buying It! Turmeric (Curcuma longa) is a culinary “healer spice” that spans cultures – it is a major ingredient in Indian curries, and gives the American mustard its yellow color. Turmeric is considered one of the world’s healthiest foods. Turmeric’s antiseptic and antibacterial properties also make it great for cleaning and treating wounds, and its anti-inflammatory properties work well against joint pain and arthritis. Experts believe that turmeric may even have over 600 potential preventive and therapeutic uses and 175 distinct beneficial physiological effects. Also, a body of evidence is emerging suggesting that this brightly colored relative of ginger is a promising disease-preventive agent as well, probably due to its anti-inflammatory action. Turmeric appears to outperform many pharmaceuticals in its effects against several chronic, debilitating diseases, and does so with virtually no adverse side effects!

Baked Cauliflower with Yogurt Sauce Baked Cauliflower with Yogurt Sauce make a great side dish. Instead of the classic heavy cheese sauce, I use Greek Yogurt, Dijon Mustard, Fresh Parmesan and Breadcrumbs for a lighter version of the dish. Cauliflower is often forgotten. You’ll want to include cauliflower as one of the cruciferous vegetables you eat on a regular basis if you want to receive the fantastic health benefits provided by the cruciferous vegetable family.

Healthy herbs and super spices Who hasn’t heard about “super foods,” like watercress, blueberries and spring onions. But what we didn’t know until recently is that there are also “super” herbs and spices. Here are some which will not only make your babies food taste even nicer, but could also boost/support their immune system, or provide some relief from ailments (NOTE: These are not cures and all medical issues need to be discussed with qualified health professionals). You can start adding many herbs and spices to your babies food from 6 months but as with food, it’s good to introduce them slowly, and one at time, to ensure no reaction.

Roasted Vegetable Lasagna: Voluptous Vegan Lasagna I have to admit when I saw this recipe, my heart started pounding. I won’t believe it if you say you’re looking at the image right now and NOT salivating… A LOT! I’ve always said I’m all about simplicity, but once in a while recipes like THIS ONE deserve the time and effort needed to put them together. I am a HUGE fan of roasted veggies, and when they intermingle beautifully with lasagna sheets and creamy cheesy sauces in a richly delightful recipe like this one, my excitement just goes over the top!
