I have made a few this or that activities on winter traditions and the Super Bowl. One of my favorite features is how easy they are to edit! My students (especially my fifth and sixth graders) were able to do this quickly- much faster than Google Drawings- which I was using for a similar activity.

More Mr. Bean Just surfing the net while my husband does the dishes - this must be the 90's. Had a great class today thanks to one of my Mr. Bean videos. Used it 2 ways because of the 2 levels I teach. Basic group - received a sheet of sentences about things that happened in the video. I had taken out the verb but put it (verb stem only) at the end of the sentence. Elimination: The TCI game of all games I cannot believe that I have never blogged about this game before. I have a tendency to exaggerate, but I really don’t think that I am exaggerating when I say that this is the MOST beneficial, MOST engaging, and MOST awesome game that a Comprehension-based teacher can play. In my case, I found that this unit was a great way to bring in some vocabulary for places in a city and transportation. In addition, the students are gaining important knowledge about a city that many of them will have an opportunity to visit at one time in their lives. Because I think it’s very important for the students to become familiar with various attractions in Paris, I began this unit with a series of learning stations designed to introduce the students to the tourist attractions they might visit on a trip to Paris. Although these stations are based on authentic resources that I have accumulated over the years (and can’t realistically share here), I’ve included a quick explanation of each station.
