Granny Circle Blanket with pattern I really hope you all like looking at photos of crocheted blankets because there is a LOT of them in this post! Here it is finished, the beautiful, gorgeous, totally delicious, Psychedelic Granny Square Blanket I started back in January! And I am completely in love with it! So much so that I dragged it all over Shangri La Farm photographing it every which way, like it was a woolly Super Model (which it is!). Here's some earlier shots of the squares before I started joining them. I made 100 squares!

And they can be put together in so many different patterns. bonnet facile knitting for last minute gifts is part of the holiday season and often unexpectedly fun. this year a slouchy hat using two luxurious skeins of eyre, for a close friend seemed just right. last-minute slouch ::: yarn :: madelinetosh eyre (225 yds (206 meters): “milk”, 2 skeins, madelinetosh tosh sock (395 yards / 361 meters) : “robin’s egg”, 1 skein. note : both yarns are held doubled throughout. needles :: one US 9 (5.5mm) 32” (80 cm) circular needle. change needle size if necessary to obtain gauge. Porch pouf Crochet is perfect when you want to shape the yarn into certain shapes, and here´s a big round pillow dressed up with slip stitches. The pattern can be adjusted to fit any size round pillow. We crocheted the top and sides, and just pulled together in the bottom to avoid crocheting with the pillow inside. (The pouf is open under) It is important that the pillow you use for filling is big enough to stretch the cover properly, if you have a really soft and squishy pillow it has to be much bigger than the cover, or use more than one stacked on top of eachother.

Free Crochet Patterns for Women's Clothing Dress yourself up in gorgeous crocheted clothing -- sweaters, shaws, wraps, scarves, and other delightful crocheted luxuries. Shawls, Wraps and Capes Feminine Lace Stole -- Photo © Rick Jackofsky Three Beans in a Pod: Retro Circles - The Tutorial I’m calling this a ‘tutorial’ rather than a pattern as I’m not re-inventing the wheel. Although I didn’t work from a pre-existing pattern when making my blanket I know there are many ‘circle in a square’ patterns out there. One from Little Tin Bird that is very similar to what I had done, so I would hate anyone to think that I’m claiming their pattern as my own.

Do you dare to wear a granny square? I’m not sure if I’d manage a granny square evening dress…. But I’m loving the cowl I made last week and have been quite excited to show you! I must apologise for the photos, I’ve cropped them right down this week, so you can’t see the whole effect, but let me tell you, it really is lovely, I tried it on my friend to see how it looked on someone and couldn’t get it off her and back around my neck fast enough! Being that we are heading into winter at what seems like a veeeeeery fast pace right now, I’m obsessed with cowls and this I have to tell you, is the first of a series of cowl posts.
