In Avignon, France, the streets are animated with street artist GoddoG's graffiti art. The young artist's creations are filled with color and center on his human-like characters. Despite having similar features to humans, the subjects often ball up into themselves, giving them an animalistic appearance - specifically, armadillos. GoddoG also occasionally features animals alongside his main figures that are unusually realistic, adding an interesting element to the aesthetic.

The new documentary film Exit Through the Gift Shop , playing in art-house cinemas throughout the country this year, is an excellent and comedic illustration of the observation that the most successful innovations are all about marketing. Exit Through the Gift Shop is about the latest big innovation in the art world, i.e. street art — high end graffiti art best typified by Banksy , the " scarlet pimpernel of street art" and the director of the film. What is so intriguing about the movie is that Banksy first tried to make a documentary about the authentic origins of street art and then realized a more interesting film might be about the wildly successful commercialization of street art.

Lançamento da 1ª Bienal Internacional de Arte de Rua de São Paulo A I Bienal internacional de Arte de Rua, que será realizada em São Paulo , - cidade tida como referência internacional em publicações e exposições especializadas no tema -, nasce para promover um movimento que vem se desenvolvendo a cada dia - a Arte de Rua, ou StreetArt . Sob a coordenação de Rui Amaral, um grupo de 8 artistas, pioneiros da Arte de Rua no Brasil, formam a curadoria que desenha a I BIAR, prevista para acontecer no final de 2010 e irá apresentar o diverso panorama desta manifestação no Brasil e no mundo. Será desenvolvido um circuito de intervenções públicas na cidade, e no MAC (Museu de Arte Contemporânea, Ibirapuera) haverá uma série de atividades internas, como exposições, registros, mostras de vídeo, debates e oficinas.

Em paralelo, participou de salões em diversas cidades brasileiras, sendo premiado no 1º Salão da Escola Art Pop, em 1976. No ano seguinte, participou do Festival de Cinema de Gramado, na categoria Animação Experimental.
