Ik vond er een afbeelding en patroon van en die vond ik zo leuk, die wilde ik wel eens een keer proberen te maken. Ziet er ingewikkeld uit, maar is het niet. Helemaal niet met de stap-voor-stap foto's die je hieronder vindt. De vierkantjes zijn redelijk groot, ca. 14 x 14 cm. Gehaakt met de Phildar impact 3,5 en haaknaald 5. Toer 1: begin met een “magic loop“. Toer 2: 3 lossen + 1 stokje, 1 losse; in elke vaste van de eerste toer 2 stokjes en 1 losse. Toer 3: een nieuwe kleur tussen twee stokjes-paren vastmaken; 3 lossen + 1 stokje + 2 lossen + 2 stokjes + 1 losse op de zelfde plek. Toer 4: ter overbrugging naar de tussenruimte tussen de volgende 2 stokjes-paren 1 losse + 1 halve vaste in de tussenruimte.3 lossen + 6 stokjes in de tussenruimte, 1 losse. For a third consecutive year the city of Kaunas, Lithuania approached artist Jolanta Šmidtienė to assist with their annual holiday decorating. Recognizing the city’s somewhat dire financial state the artist challenged herself to build something that wouldn’t rely on any administrative funds set aside for the event. The result: an enormous 13-meter tall Christmas tree made from nearly 40,000 recycled green bottles and zip ties. At night the tree is lit from the inside resulting in a glowing, translucent, emerald green spruce that’s making headlines across the country. I would love it if Chicago had the ambition to do something like this.
