Joji 'George' HASHIGUCHI HASHIGUCHI Jôji (transliterated as 'George') is a Japanese photographer and a writer, who started photo-document in the early 1980s with communities of outcasts, gangs and drug dealers in the West and Japan ( Oretachi , magazine works), and Berlin both before and after the fall of the Wall ( Berlin , Die Mauer , Jiyu , the 2-volume novel Berlin Monogatari , etc.). Thereafter and non-exclusively, starting with Seventeen's Map , Hashiguchi has worked on the vast project of 'understanding Japan and the Japanese' through subjective thematic cuts through the Japanese society (17 years old, fathers, couples, elderly, children, etc.), travel and random encounters, during which were taken photographs and sociological data.Cargo
