Over the last three months, I have been reviewing the ten books that changed my life. Each one shook my world view, made me reconsider who I was and the actions I put forth, and left me facing a new direction than the one I faced before. Here are all ten in one place, with a brief summary of each one along with a link to the longer essay on that particular book. Fahrenheit 451 – Ray Bradbury Fahrenheit 451 is a novel relating the story of Guy Montag, a “fireman” in a future America where firemen burn books. This future America is actually rather frightening: as television becomes more prevalent and more interactive, books are seen by general society as being evil, containing critical thoughts that are better off banished.

Description : Update Scanner est une extension pour Firefox qui permet d'être averti des modifications effectuées sur une page Web. Lorsqu'une modification intervient, Update Scanner affiche un message d'avertissement pendant 5 secondes mais on peut configurer la méthode d'avertissement (à partir de l'icône Préférences du panneau latéral). Dans le panneau latéral, les noms des sites mis à jour figurent en caractères gras.
