Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough + Cupcake = The BEST Cupcake. Ever. The Crazy Kitchen: Millionaires Cheesecake. This afternoon I received the amazing news that a recipe I entered via Baking Mad to appear in the 2012 Macmillan Little Book of Treats is going to be featured in the book which will be sold in M&S Cafe's in August and September.I am overjoyed to say the least.

May is turning out to be a bit of a surreal month, first I reached the finals for the BiB awards, and then the MAD awards and now this.Apparently they loved my recipe & it's been tested by a home economist and professionally photographed ready to appear in the book. You don't need to wait until August to see it though as I can give you a special preview of my recipe here. Assorted Mini Cheesecakes | Becca Bakes. I bought an extra of package of cream cheese and brainstormed mini cheesecakes as a cute idea to use up the 8oz block as well as a some blackberries, raspberries, and graham crackers we had left over from doing this awesome stop motion s'mores video. I used the same base on all of them and then modified for each of the flavors. I liked the blackberry-lime one the best but but Chocolate-Raspberry made with Taza 70% dark was not to be missed. What was great about these cheesecakes is I really just threw in what I had on hand in the the pantry and you can do the same! What kind will you make? Assorted Flavors: A brownie by any other name… Love brownies. Love their shiny, flaky top that shatters into micro-thin shards that shower onto your fingers as you eat. Love their dark, gooey center. Their “chocolate nirvana” flavor. Sometimes can’t deal with the bake, wait to cool, cutting into squares messiness and fuss of brownies.

Want something I can enjoy within 5 minutes of its exit from the oven. Something I can put on a plate and take with me – fast. Want Fudge Drops. Every time I make these cookies (which, truth be told, is quite often), I think of a former colleague, Ana, who left King Arthur last year in order to be a full-time mom to her 2-year-old twins. The test kitchen bakers loved Ana.

Ana still visits occasionally, 2-year-olds in tow. And when she does, she’ll invariably nose out any chocolate, and treat us to her classic reaction: “Perfect! These cookies are basically brownies: flat, round, 2 ½” brownies. First task: Combine the chocolate and butter. Melt in the microwave till softened… …then stir till smooth. Death By Oreo Cupcakes. They are probably the best Oreo cakes I have ever tried. A lot of cake's that I have experimented with before are like a vanilla cake with bits of Oreo in them, which didn't really give them enough Oreo flavor. But these were a lot better. I used a dark chocolate fudge cake mix instead of just a regular chocolate cake mix, which went really well with the cookies and gave the cakes just a little more flavor. So, in this recipe there is Oreo's in the cake, in the frosting, and at the bottom is a Oreo surprise. That's right, you put a whole Oreo at the bottom of the cake.

The cookie stays firm, which makes it a little interesting to eat against the soft cake, but it actually gave a really yummy crunch. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream together butter and cream cheese. Foodsnots.com. 2-Minute Chocolate Chip Cookie For One. This is one of those ‘I-need-a-cookie-right-now-or-I-die’ recipes that can be prepared in almost no time.We all know that kind of situation, don’t we?

I definitely do, I confess. And you know what? This impressive cookie not only takes less than 5 minutes to prepare, it tastes really delicious. Just like a good chocolate chip cookie. The preparation is beyond easy… just have a look… First you need this stuff. 1. Place the butter and sugars in a 2-cup bowl or ramekin. Use a fork to combine all these ingredients. 2. 3. 4. Save a few for the top, if you wish to.5. Ta-dah! 6. Frozen Strawberry Bites. I had so much fun making Frozen Banana Bites (inspired by my lovely mother-in-law, Diane) and because I live by the motto, “more is better” I decided to try a different approach to freezing chocolate around chunks of fruit. We need to get our fruit in each day, right? And thanks to a give-away on Mardi’s site, Eat Live Travel Write, I won an entire flat of strawberries from the California Giant Berry Farms.

Translation? A nice stash of freshly sliced and frozen strawberries…ready for a chocolate bath! One of the best benefits of sharing recipes on my site is every now and then I have a recipe like this one that requires a photo with a bite taken. How else can I show you the goodies inside? I don’t know why, but this shot required that I take oodles of nibbles from a lot of Frozen Strawberry Bites. Look, I’m in the same boat as most everyone else. But being healthy doesn’t mean living a life of deprivation. 2 or 3 strawberries, (frozen or fresh)1/2 cup dairy free chocolate chips. Yipee! Take a guess what these are. I wasn’t sure I was going to make them or not.

Leading up to my transplant, I had a lot of people suggest that I do, but for the longest time I thought kidney-shaped cake pops would just be kind of weird. That is until I received a surprise in the mail. More on that in a minute. You know sometimes I come across strange candy and think I have no idea what I’m going to use these for, but they are too unique not to pass up. This is an example of something I would grab in a heartbeat if I stumbled on it in the store. But these were actually sent to me by Rips along with an assortment of their other takes on licorice treats.

I was glad to have them since I had not seen these anywhere yet. And they were perfect to finish off these. Here’s how to make Basic Cake Pops if you are new to them. You know I had to go with red velvet. Appropriate I think. I like to roll my cake balls out first before I shape them. But not when I roll first. Less chaos. Not me. Wanna see? I really am. But see, last Friday while I was on a 10-hour road trip heading for vacation, I received this recipe from a reader named Liz. Liz, I love you. That’s all I have to say. I was tortured by this recipe for a full 8 days before I could make it. I wanted to make it while I was on vacation, but couldn’t drag myself up off the couch to do so. So it was the first thing I made when I returned home. These are an absolute sin. I really don’t have any words, other than you must try them. They may also change your waistline too. But that’s okay. It’s all in the name of chocolate. Let’s make some right now :) All you really need for these fabulous cookies is your favorite cookie dough and a bag of chocolate chips. My favorite cookie dough just happens to be Picky Palate’s, and it works perfectly for this recipe, but you could just as easily use a store-bought mix or even refrigerated cookie dough. Oreo Cookies-Recipe Oreo-Oreo Recipes-Cheese Cupcakes-Oreo Cheesecakes. Posted by Grace Massa Langlois on Wednesday, 21st July 2010 I have yet to meet a person who doesn’t like Oreo cookies or Cream Cheesecake Cupcakes. Who could resist cream-filled chocolate sandwich cookies? Not Me! Especially the double-stuffed Oreo cookie, it’s one of the best cookies for dunking into a cold glass of milk.

I went out yesterday to do my weekly shop, came home, and before I was able to bring in the first grocery bag Matt was hunting for the cookies and cream ice cream. Much to his disappointment I forget to put it on the list and came home without it. One of Matt’s favourite desserts of all time is cherry cheesecake and I thought to myself why not Oreo Cookies and Cream Cheesecakes, that should satisfy his craving. Plus these cheesecakes are super easy to prepare, everything comes together in one bowl and there’s no crushing chocolate wafers with a rolling pin, then melting butter, baking the crust first and then baking a second time when filled. Thanks for visiting! Happy April! As the saying goes, “April Showers bring May Flowers.” We are off to a good start, as the temperatures have dropped about 30 degrees from yesterday, and we’re seeing rain showers all day. Did anyone play any good April Fools on their spouses or kids? Well, now that it’s April, I am so excited to tell you about this month’s ingredient of the month! My first recipe highlighting this refreshing citrus is one of the first recipes I found on Pinterest when I first joined the site. I’m also excited to bring you a tip from the great Joy the Baker Cookbook on how to get the most flavor out of your fruit zest: Joy says to put your measured out granulated sugar on a cutting board or clean counter, and then add your zest to the sugar.

Adapted from Sweet Pea’s Kitchen For the Loaf: For the Lemon Syrup: 1/3 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice1/3 cup sugar For the Lemon Glaze Directions: Chocolate Molten Cupcake with Powdered Sugar & Strawberries.
