Grace Institute serves 300 women annually through 2 six-month cycles. Classes are held from 9am-4pm from Monday through Friday. Grace Institute is proud of its diverse student body! We train underserved women, ages 18-64 who live in the New York metropolitan area. We are HRA accredited and provide social service support with challenges that may arise during the training. Bushwick Workforce Resource Center The mission of the Bushwick Workforce Resource Center is to facilitate greater access to education, job training, and employment services for the people of Bushwick, and to develop community partnerships that can provide additional support to local residents.
The BWRC serves over 1,500 local residents per year. Our certification programs provide all of the educational hours in the Core Knowledge areas necessary to be AASECT certified as a Sexuality Educator, Counselor or Therapist. They also provide some sex therapy training hours, some sex education training hours, consultation hours for sex educators and the Attitudes & Values Training (SAR).
