On November 18, 2016, the final proposal, the Proposed Final Program (PFP), was published. The implementation of the 2017-2022 Program could have economic, social, or environmental impacts. Enbridge completes another Bakken pipeline expansion project

Existing pipeline running from Berthold, N.D. to Steelman, Saskatchewan has been expanded and a new 16-inch pipeline from a new terminal near Steelman to Enbridge Pipelines Inc.’s, mainline terminal near Cromer, Manitoba, has been constructed. The project adds 145,000 barrels of oil per day capacity to the Bakken and Three Forks formation and is the third expansion effort in the last five years by Enbridge. According to Mark Maki, Enbridge Energy Partners project president, the expansion was completed on time and under budget, which according to the company was roughly $100 million.
