The greatest mass of an iceberg lies hidden unseen beneath the surface of the water.Coordinates : The Great Pyramid of Cholula , also known as Tlachihualtepetl ( Nahuatl for "artificial mountain"), is a huge complex located in Cholula , Puebla , Mexico . It is the largest archaeological site of a pyramid (temple) in the New World . [ 1 ] The pyramid stands 55 metres (180 ft) above the surrounding plain, [ 2 ] and in its final form it measured 400 by 400 metres (1,300 by 1,300 ft). [ 3 ] The pyramid is a temple that has traditionally been viewed as having been dedicated to the god Quetzalcoatl . [ 2 ] The architectural style of the building was closely linked to that of Teotihuacan in the Valley of Mexico , although influence from the Gulf Coast is also evident, especially from El Tajín . Representation of the central tenet of the Orion Correlation Theory - the outline of the Giza pyramids superimposed over a photograph of the stars in Orion's Belt. The validity of this match has been called into question by Hancock's critics, as noted in the text.

Equinox
An equinox occurs twice a year (around 20 March and 22 September), when the tilt of the Earth 's axis is inclined neither away from nor towards the Sun , the center of the Sun being in the same plane as the Earth's equator . The term equinox can also be used in a broader sense, meaning the date when such a passage happens. The name "equinox" is derived from the Latin aequus (equal) and nox (night), because around the equinox, night and day are about equal length.Dogon people

OBELISKS OF ROME
While in the trance state, Edgar Cayce's ability to peer into the past with uncanny psychic accuracy was demonstrated repeatedly. This type of information is called "retrocognition" and the Cayce readings attest to the variety of material available in this manner: previous happenings in an individual's life, including accidents or forgotten traumas; as well as ancient history, including the geological evolution of the planet and details of tribes and civilizations that predate recorded history. For example, more than eleven years before the Dead Sea Scrolls were found in 1947, Edgar Cayce provided a great deal of information on a Jewish sect called the Essenes.

Intending to write a book "to uncover the traces in architecture of a secret religion that has shaped the world," instead Hancock and Bauval (H & B) wrote the book on obfuscation. They've given us no new pieces to the puzzle, merely refitted existing pieces in a slightly different way, and after 486 pages, withheld a cogent idea as to the completed picture's content. H & B's latest offering drags readers onto a disjointed, verbose highway where the circuitous routing of information never achieves a cohesive closing.
