Unir-se i col·laborar per prioritzar l'interès cultural i de proximitat. Aquest és l'objectiu dels sis festivals catalans que s'han agrupat sota el paraigua d''A-petit', una plataforma que neix amb la voluntat de crear sinergies i enfortir el paper d'aquests certàmens de petit format. Segons els seus responsables, tots aposten per donar cabuda a artistes emergents i programar propostes "arriscades" de l'àmbit musical català, amb la qual cosa creuen necessari establir una xarxa per intercanviar experiències, afrontar problemàtiques i debatre sobre el seu futur.
