It's Nice That : à 2 c'est mieux: Update
It’s been almost a year since we discovered the work of Aurore Lameyre and Vincent de Hoÿm (à 2 c’est mieux). Since then the Paris based studio have gone on to produce plenty of great work including this (in collaboration with Côme de Bouchony ) for Rendez-Vous Sauvage and Fête de la Musique dedicated to “supplying good vibrations, uplifting spirit and red-hot rhythms for everyone.” To celebrate the event they printed three unique posters; a lion, a pineapple and a shark.

Buamai is an online repository for unique or inspirational found images. Mainly for graphic design and type related material, the collection now encompasses contributions from a worldwide collective of artists, graphic designers, programmers, architects and fashion designers.

The hotel apartment in Poznań was designed by architects mode:lina and provides temporary accommodation throughout the year for trade fair visitors. Other hotel interiors recently featured on Dezeen include a boutique gay hotel with a life-size polar bear statue and a Paris hotel filled with touchscreens . The challenge was to use easily replaceable parts (here: IKEA) and create a space that definitely stands out among other similar offers on the market. Designers faithful to the principle of crossing-over combined catalogue elements with these custom-made to create an affordable and durable design giving the impression of tailored interior.
