DIY Summer Dress
I learned to sew a while back and have found that there are so many styles out there right now that are pretty darn easy to make. A little fabric and a bit of elastic can be whipped up into a great dress, top or skirt. Now I find myself walking through stores, looking at simple tops and dresses that seem so overpriced and I say to myself “I can make that”. (Lizzy gets super annoyed because I do it with everything hehe) My latest re-creation project is so stinkin simple ANYONE can do it and it’s so darn cute: the Le Sac dress from American Apparel .

Wow, it really has been a while since I've posted here. I have been making dresses throughout the spring & summer, trying out new techniques & just generally having a good time.
