EWAO New Study suggests Alien Civilizations may number in TRILLIONS

Rejoice Alien hunters, the possibility that Earth is not the only planet inhabited by an intelligent civilization has gained more credibility thanks to a brand new study that coincides with NASA’s recent planetary discoveries. The new study, published in the Journal Astrobiology proposes that more planets in our galaxy harbor advanced civilizations than anyone previously imagined. “We really do know that pretty much every star in the sky hosts at least one planet,” said astronomer Adam Frank co-author of the study.

Woodruff Sullivan and Adam Frank looked at NASA’s recent discoveries of potentially habitable worlds and considered the odds whether sophisticated civilizations could have inhabited them or still do. According to Frank, the potential number of planets orbiting their host star within a habitable distance is staggering. fp. Earth's magnetic heartbeat - RiseEarth. By spacedaily.com With more than two years of measurements by ESA's Swarm satellite trio, changes in the strength of Earth's magnetic field are being mapped in detail.

Earth's magnetic heartbeat - RiseEarth

Launched at the end of 2013, Swarm is measuring and untangling the different magnetic signals from Earth's core, mantle, crust, oceans, ionosphere and magnetosphere - an undertaking that will take several years to complete. Although invisible, the magnetic field and electric currents in and around Earth generate complex forces that have immeasurable effects on our everyday lives. The field can be thought of as a huge bubble, protecting us from cosmic radiation and electrically charged atomic particles that bombard Earth in solar winds.

However, it is in a permanent state of flux. Presented at this week's Living Planet Symposium, new results from the constellation of Swarm satellites show where our protective field is weakening and strengthening, and importantly how fast these changes are taking place. First Nations peoples are the longest living continuous culture on earth, but modern researchers have just started to look at the wisdom that comes with the many thousand years of residency, and that's especially true of astronomy.

How the First Nations people from the great southern continent saw the Stars

First Australians tracked and predicted interstellar movements in highly sophisticated ways, looking up at the night with eyes intriguingly different to our own. To hear some examples of things that they could teach us, I met with Swinburne University's Dr. Alan Duffy, who specializes in astronomy practices of the First Nations people. Dr. X-files. Inner Space and Outer Space: Carl Sagan’s Letters to Timothy Leary (1974)

Carl Sagan to Dr. Timothy Leary - February 19, 1974 By Lisa Rein and Michael Horowitz (See full text of letters at the bottom of this post.) It will probably surprise a lot of people that the great American astronomer, astrophysicist and cosmologist, Carl Sagan, advocate of space travel and extra-terrestrial communication, visited Timothy Leary in the California Medical Facility, a state prison in Vacaville, California.

By Maria Popova “Everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was … lived there — on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam,” Carl Sagan famously marveled in his poetic Pale Blue Dot monologue, titled after the iconic 1990 photograph of Earth.

I once had a media and communications professor ask a packed auditorium of journalism students the interesting question: “What is the singular factor that affects all of humanity?

The September 2015 Wave X Awakening By Dr. Kathy J. Forti – Shattering The Matrix

A factor that can start or stop wars? That can raise up civilizations or destroy them?” Not one student could come up with the right, yet so obvious, answer: Space Weather. Almost 35+ years later, I still remember his words. When I heard Dr. Space weather not only influences, but guides humanity. On a positive note, when there are coronal mass ejections from the sun (CMEs), humans are more likely to experience euphoria, calmness and ultimately peace. I experienced this first hand many years ago when I worked in a darkened lab doing altered states studies during daylight hours. Cosmic Journeys - Is the Universe Infinite?
