Cardboard Art One look at the art of Chris Gilmour astounds as normal cardboard is shaped into life-sized replications of everyday objects. Collage Ideas and How to Make A Collage 1: If this is your first time I would use a page of card stock the same size as a piece of copy paper. Later on when you are confident you can upsize to canvas’s or whatever you like. 2: Decide what colours you want to use for a start. I usually chose 3-4 colours as the main features. Applique inverse: un tutoriel This is a really fun, simple project. Yet another way to fancy up some plain tees or a great fix for old shirts with holes. DIY: Wine Bottle Light « Wit & Whistle November 3rd, 2009 This past spring Daniel and I went on a road trip from San Francisco to the Grand Canyon. Along the way we stopped at Chateau Julien for a wine tasting. I wanted to do something with the empty bottle instead of throwing it in the recycling bin. So here it is! You’ll need: Pioneer Woman Home & Garden A sweet friend of mine sent the girls and me a box of adorably adorable owl pillows this week. She doesn’t sell them, doesn’t have an Etsy shop…she just makes them. I think they might be the sweetest things I’ve ever seen, and I think they’ll be precious in the girls’ new room. So this week we decided to mix things up a bit by painting with watercolors, clear Elmer’s glue and salt. Isn’t the final result neat? The idea for using glue and salt with watercolors came from Pinterest. I kept seeing pins with notes about sprinkling salt on wet watercolors or using glue to create designs on top of the paint. La trousse de la rentrée et son tuto But I mostly noticed when, trying to get into a stationnery store, I got kicked out by a guard sorting the clients out... no kids, no entry... (Ok, that didin't really happen but, you never know, maybe, one day...) Anyway, anyone trying to go to the 'back to school' department of a store needs a lot of will and bravery... people are lining for hours or wrestling over a map, the kids are crying... a total nightmarre!
