Non-adhesive Book « Playful Bookbinding and Paper Works This is the second year I have done this journal project with fifth graders in Saratoga Springs. I wrote about it last year, but in less detail than I plan to write about it today. Marco Donnarumma Performer, body tinkerer and writer Marco Donnarumma is a PhD student at Goldsmiths, University of London with Atau Tanaka and Matthew Fuller, funded by the European Research Council. He teaches regularly worldwide for academic institutions and media labs. Marco explores the dimensions of the body in relation to real, virtual and cultural space. Using natural and technological media, his works disrupt the flesh to uncover unknown traits of human nature.

He then went to Toynbee Hall, a philanthropic mission in the East End of London, where he set up the School and Guild of Handicraft in 1888. The Guild made woodwork, leatherwork, metalwork and jewellery, showing at the Arts and Crafts Exhibition Society from 1889.
