Paper beads I made these paper beads a while ago and dug them out the other day for my eldest son to play with. At three and a half he’s grown out of playing with his chunky threading beads – so these were the perfect replacement. They are so easy to make and surprisingly sturdy. I used some sheets of origami paper to make mine but you can use any kind of paper.
How to Make a Spiral Wire Ring This is one of the easiest wire rings I’ve ever made. I can’t believe I didn’t come up with this sooner. It only requires one piece of wire and looks great in copper, silver, brass, bronze or whatever wire you like. The wire should be 16 gauge, soft and round. *This sample was in size 8 so if you want a smaller ring, you can decrease the length by either cutting it 1/2″ shorter or creating a bigger center spiral. How to Make a Toothbrush Bracelet It seems that I'm into things made of household items-- from fork bracelets to pushpin shoes, there's a trend there. ;) What you need to make a toothbrush bracelet: ♥Toothbrush ♥Pliers ♥Pot and stove The first thing you need to do is put the toothbrush in boiling water. I recommend the cheapest toothbrush you can find, whether that's at the Dollar Store or wherever-- just as long as it is the simple kind.

Louis Vuitton "Knock Off" Fabric Bead Necklace Yesterday was cotMC...code name for Craft of the Month Club...trust me..."this ain't your Mama's" craft club...this is a group of highly creative and talented artists that don't take things too seriously..there is no "Martha Stewart threat of perfection" we just like to get into the creative "flow" together and we always have lots of laughs while we are at it. Yesterday was my turn to show up with a project and all the supplies. I had clipped this page from Style magazine a year ago that featured a cloth bead necklace by Louis Vuitton made with Liberty of London printed cottons. This lovely little necklace had a price tag of $850...seriously! The froo*gal has managed to recreate the original for under $15.
Wire Ring Base Tutorial I decided to make some polymer clay rings to sell, but turns out it's almost impossible to buy ring bases here.So after I finished beeing mad at the local craft store I came up with the idea to make my own ring bases. And I'm going to share the idea, since I know some of you have trouble finding tha bases too. This is how they look without the clay. How to Make a Fork Bracelet I've always loved taking everyday items and making them into something interesting. Ever since I was a little crafty kid I loved devouring books that taught me how to make little dolls from clothespins, beads from rolled up magazines, and little fairy ornaments from wire and fake flower petals. The first time I saw my friend wearing a bracelet made from a fork a few years ago, I knew I had to try it (*ahem Carly ;)).
