The Peachy Printer - The First $100 3D Printer & Scanner! by Rinnovated Design

The peachy printer is a Photolithographic printer. That means it uses a controlled beam of light to cure light sensitive resin into hard objects. The peachy moves a laser beam along the X and Y axes to create the shape of the object, while using a drip system to control the level of the resin on the Z axis which determines the height of the object. The object you want to print must first become a 3D model in Blender. The software we wrote as an add on to blender takes the data from that 3D model and translates it into an audio waveform. Now let's talk about the drip system that creates movement on the Z axis. Portable 3D Printer. ZEUS: world's first 3D printer / scanner / copy machine. Sep 06, 2013 ZEUS: world's first 3D printer / scanner / copy machine ZEUS: world’s first 3D printer / scanner / copy machine wouldn’t it be great to buy a 3D printer, take it out of the box, plug it in, and be able to use it right away, the same way you would with any other piece of consumer electronics such as computers and TV’s?

ZEUS: world's first 3D printer / scanner / copy machine

Engineers at AIO robotics have developed a solution that will now allow users to 3D scan, 3D print, 3D copy, and 3D fax objects from one device. entitled ‘ZEUS’, the all-in-one electronic device is constructed out of aluminum, powder-coated in a moonstone white, with black anodized side panels. the inclusion of a 7-inch touchscreen gives the machine a welcoming ‘consumer ready’ look. instead of usin plastic or wood, all linear components are also built using CNC-machined aluminum, including the XYZ-carrier, turntable and external shell. the structure of the 3D copy machine dramatically increases the quality of the prints, preventing deformation and heat soaking.

Shapeways - Make, buy, and sell products with 3D Printing. Calibration/fr. A few weeks back I took my sons to the Fayetteville Free Library to learn more about their new Fab Lab and see the 3D MakerBot printer in action. While we were busy printing out a robot and ring on the 3D printer, the librarian (Lauren) mentioned an upcoming open house for the Fab Lab that would include the 3D printer, making jewelry, and making things in Duct Tape…if she could find someone who made things with Duct Tape. Riley, my 11 year old said “I make stuff with Duct Tape,” and before Lauren knew what was happening he was flipping though pictures of his creations on his phone.

“Great” said Lauren without missing a beat “you could teach it.” And he did. You should have seen him beam when Sue Considine, the amazing director of Fayetteville Free, personally thanked him for helping out. A week later my youngest son said he had a great idea for this year’s science fair. The next Saturday we took the “library” on a disk back to Fayetteville and printed it out.
